- In this video i pick & gut one of the locksports favourite padlocks, the Awesome 6 pin Assa Ruko 2, I’ll explain a couple of tips that will definitely make picking this tricky lock a little easier regardless of the bitting.

I’ve got the 700. Beautiful bastard it is. Gin bottles in 3,5,7. It’s taking me so long to open.
Those Gin bottles are truly evil … i did pick an Assa oval with a couple of gin bottles in a year or so ago…& it was pain i must say. Thanks for watching & commenting 😁👍

I have one of these locks but only 1 key! It's copy protected though. I'm afraid to use the lock in case I ever lose the 1 key.
Never get consistency out of rukos somehow, some are easy to pick others get me working on them for hours at a time
They are exceptionally well designed & well made locks. To be honest I’ve picked quite a few over years, i love picking them even though some of them can be a real pain to open. Hopefully the combination of heavy & light tension will help. Have a great weekend my friend. 😎👍
How effective is raking on that lock?
To be honest I’m not sure, i would hope that these lock would be quite difficult to rake, but the next one i get I’ll definitely give it a try. Have a great week. 😎👍

Is that bitting easy with the key way?
No bitting is easy with these locks. The bitting on this lock means that every pin needed to travel through all three parts on the drivers. They are really fun locks to pick. Have a great week my friend.

What a superb picking video - a really great how to guide on how to open these locks. Maybe it's time I got mine out of the naughty bucket.
I’ve found the every one of those padlocks I’ve picked have been easier to open using this technique. ( apart from the assa twin cored one’s) lol
