zutomayo is one of the bands that pushed indie animators/artist to its limit~ Most of the zutomayo's MVs back then was only made by a single animator on each mv, that's why some of the animations might be look rough. she's also one of the first jpop artist that i've listened to before i get into Eve, yorushika, ado, yoasobi etc.
If you like animated mv, you may like YORUSHIKA（ヨルシカ）as well 😊 YOASOBI YORUSHIKA（ヨルシカ） ZUTOMAYO（ずっと真夜中ならいいのに） These three groups have a word of “night” in their group names. So in Japan, they are called “nocturnal” artists all three together. There is huge fandom of “nocturnal“ artists/ music in Japan.
I like how in Hunch Gray, when the beat drops the first time, the cannon shoots. it's lined up so perfectly and i love it. Also, one ZUTOMAYO animation i like (the song is really good aswell) is Neko Reset. but just the visuals in it is insane.
So happy to see a ZUTOMAYO reaction! They really are one of the best groups out there, hands down. And you guys are a great group to get exposed to them. I know you are doing more anime japanese music reaction videos but i was wondering iff maybe you'd be intterested in checking out music from the anime style (but chinese) game Genshin Impact, it is famously known for its incredible music and i think you guys would like it as well as i'd be intterested to hear your thoughts on the mixes of genres (they often incorporate modern elements into tradional instrument of the regions the game is inspired by) a lot of the characters theme are pretty short but super good (like "Rex Incognito" only 1:20) and the Boss OSTs are bangers my favourite being the "Scaramouch boss all phases" and they also do live orchestra/symphonic performances and concert (again my very biased suggestion being "Sumeru Live Symphony Performance") anyway fun video as always guys yall are super entertaining :D
