I have no idea why isn't there any proper educational videos for this game on youtube other than urs. They mostly share full playthroughs which is useless.. Thank u for this great video.. only educational video on youtube on this particular game so far.

Thanks for the video! One thing I've found through my games is that if you have an unfinished roof in a room, it turns it into an outside area. I've used this trick a lot to create "outdoor" staircases in the middle of my school while still being able to keep floors level. No need to wait for research to create outdoor areas with this! Very useful for creating towered rooms as well. Do with this information what you wish!
Also, you can roof inside rooms, so if you want to modularize the heck out of your base like I do, make all your rooms 2 taller than wide (for lofted since roof will take away one height space) and you can put a roof on the inside. Being roofed means the rooms also get a lux bonus, so easier to hit those lux requirements, and makes early game rain easy to manage while having floor already laid down for expansion. It also gives the unintended bonus of making the rooms above elevated, since that small space between the roof and the floor above is considered outdoors. 7x9 is my go to room size since this allows for lofted skewed rooms pretty easily.

An isolated room is basically a towered room, but on the ground. So you can build it after you research foundation

I'd love a tutorial on getting enough luxury for various rooms at the time (aka tech level) one tends to need them. Great video!

Very compact and efficient! Also do you have tips for scheduling?

I have a few! Have your nature mages work during the night so they can harvest shrooms. Schedule 4 blocks of recreation time as 2 sets of 2, about 10-12 hours apart. Make a specific schedule for hungry mages (I do this in my most recent let’s play episode)
