Hi! I have heard that NCSU is famous for computer networks. I am planning to study MCS at NCSU for fall2023. Being a fresher I'm little confused in choosing track. What would you suggest Software Engineering or Networks? Thank You
I would suggest you pick depending on the kind of roles you want to land in a job. Software engineering will land you SDE roles, whereas Computer Networks will land you Network Engineer roles. Keep in mind that the average pay for a SDE is higher. You should decide based on your interest.
