Yeah it is so hit or miss and always makes me wonder who is packing these boxes when I see some ordered the same day from the same warehouse and are VASTLY different.
Also you can easily put a small charm on the coach wallet to fix the zipper. Or a leather fringe key ring

Definitely!! This is why I’m trying to stay positive and change my outlook on these particular boxes in general, and try to keep it more fun as I do keep some of the items for my daughters and myself.

My thoughts on the Thredup Fun Box.... Personally, I have never bought them because I have watched other Fun Box unboxings and they never look very fun to me! They usually have Target stuff, unbranded socks and wierd doodads like that green headband, and only once in a rare while there will be something good for resale. It's always a gamble I know, but the odds are not generally all that great. Sort of like the person who "wins big" at a casino, after having spent the same or more than those "winnings." But for someone whose fun is just the unboxing experience, they definitely get an experience, because of the strange things they will find in the Fun Box 😂
I definitely agree! I’m probably in the green if you look at ALLLLLL the fun boxes I’ve ordered because a few items over the years have sold for over $100, but most are like these for sure.
I had to look this up because I'd never heard of Adore Me at Walmart, I know they have boutique physical stores and an online store / possibly subscription. It looks like their spin off line "Adored" is at Walmart although I haven't seen it in mine, but regular Adore Me is decent and retails a little high. Its cute stuff!

While the products were not amazing, you two were fun to watch with surprises. I think you were wrong about his scarf with beads, that was gorgeous and looked expensive. I always cut out the tags on my scarves. Also the leather flap bag should sell, I would think. What Are the knee socks made of? If they are wool, I would buy them. Maybe bundle the two pairs.
No tags and no hits from google image on the scarf unfortunately. I think I’m anti any scarf bc I live in Florida. I should get about $20 for the bag, it’s in my next batch of “crap that’s hard to photograph but need to list” bunch 😂 Not sure on the socks I’ll have to check!
@@AmandaPruittI sell lots of scarves with no tags of any kind. You just have to describe them really well.That scarf was so pretty and unique and I’m sure it would sell.
One unbranded scarf that I sold, I sold to a lady that had just had surgery and she wore it to cover her scar. She wrote me the nicest love note to thank me:-)

No K-Mart for several years in my area in Indiana.
So I had to do some digging and "After the New Jersey location closes this fall, the only two remaining Kmart stores will be in Miami, Florida, and in Bridgehampton, in Suffolk County, Long Island." I am shocked as to how one is still surviving in Miami.
Leather bags do well. You should be able to get most of your money back with that.
Comps are pretty crummy on that particular bag unfortunately

Ha you gotta scroll wayyyyyy back and see some older ones. I’ve gotten literal trash. A few in a row it was all dollar tree junk. Took a long break, but that’s also when they were $24. I’ve had my fair share of super bad ones I assure you!! BUT every now and then you get a winner so it’s worth the risk 😂
I am a VIP but I honestly had never heard of an Ambassador program. I admit I have been irritated with Thred Up ever since they made it near impossible to get the DIY jewelry box. I just stick with the 200 lb boxes now.
I only knew about it because a few different channels that I watch happen to be Ambassadors. I’ll take the free $25 credit. It was just poor timing on their part to finally accept me. 🥴 you can google the application! It’s super quick.

Yes if you have credits saved they will work - promo codes do not work.
I've applied twice to be an Ambassador, and haven't heard a thing.

Hi! Yes!! Honestly, we have a daily thunderstorms worse than what we got from the hurricane so that was a blessing. And Yep all 400 pounds arrived on Thursday! I’ve already filmed eight unboxings AND made one trip to the BST. I’m exhausted. I’m currently sitting here sorting more buy sell trade bins. I’ll have to go at least ten times. 😅🥂

@@alexandraliley9620 I do know they are really cracking down on using any stock images and words for a lot of brands. I had a random item taken down yesterday, a Lalabu Babywearing, Shirt, and a few weeks ago I had a lululemon legging listing removed. You can definitely still list Figs you just cannot use any keywords or photos. They can’t stop you from selling your item.
@@AmandaPruitt at this point I'd rather give to friend than make a new listing. I swear, I for the life of me couldn't figure out why they hadn't sold. PM is always so clandestine about their movements and decisions, we make them the $ but they leave us in the dust.
I ordered 2 thredup fun boxes. The price has gone up to $34.00 not $22.00 These 2 were bad. Really bad. I don't believe the value when the items were new was what i paid for them. I understand its a gamble but i received a bag/purse strap. No name. Also a tacky bucket hat. An evening bag that is so dated. These were my last time ordering from them. So sad so disappointing. And not cheap. Close to $98.00 for both boxes. Ugh
Yes the prices went up quite some time ago. AND they added $9.99 shipping a year or so ago. I only buy them now when there is a sale! When I first started buying them they were $24 and free shipping.

Have you ordered the Goodwill Blue Box curerated box? They have a thrifty clothing box that is around $15.00. I have gotten several boxes from them that have been either things I can wear or sell. I have always made my money back plus.
