My hot take is sightreadability > creativity and design *to an extent*. Creativity really doesn’t matter like purist gameplay is still fun and half the times the COs kill you in some dumb way and it can’t compare to the amazing gameplay flow that comes from easy sightreading. I say design to an extent because you should have design but at a certain point put the focus on sightreadability.

Hot take: ToEP isn't that bad, it is a really fun tower and was a little ahead of its times, it was my favorite tower in the game when ring 6 was released.
Most of It's cool, but the place with the rotating moon is so confusingly safety netted to the point where you can just jump in a section they forgot to bring the teleporter to.

ToGF is really good for its time and even for today, but its balancing makes it out to be one of the most inconsistent, loop-failable towers out there. like minus the button progress and the fact that all the hard jumps are the most punishing, the tower is actually really decent. 3. PA is amazing, some steeples sucked (SoCF, SoHS, kind of SoDD, and SoAU was just hard), but the rest was hella enjoyable +ToCI is definitely the best tower there, ToTTT is also awesome. 4. not a hot take but don't hate on tower creators, just hate on the individual towers themself. give constructive criticism in your ratings as well. 5. nothing harder than ToCP should be in game, periodt.
I (very mistakenly) tried to grind ToZA as a hardest for a while and I personally don't agree with that although I can definitely see why you think that since the raw gameplay is very hard.

I just spell out the tower's full name like "tower of aquatic contemplation" or "tower of eternal suffering." for this reason I think that the rule against acronym conflicts should apply on the realm level, and any duplicate acronyms should be handled with a 2-character area suffix. for example, if I wanted to make a tower called tower of invertigo that went in ashen towerworks, tower of inception would show up as ToI-R4 on the tower completions menu and tower of invertigo would be ToI-AT. this would probably prevent names like tower of orientating oscillating opinions

i agree with ToTINT gp i love the creativity and vibe but the gp makes it place 4th or 5thplace for me in silent abbys (toai, totd, sod and sowg are my favs in SA)
i hate when people say "Ring 1 is the most creative area ever bc it was the first area🤓" or maybe like "ToC is overhated cuz its the first sc wich is creative🤓" oh or maybe like "oh ToH js the most creative tower bc its the first tower ever🤓" genually that makes no sence at all like what if an modern area was the first area in the game? or maybe if a modern sc was the firat sc? like thats just annoying i hate when people say that
People say so many bad things about modern towers and i cant understand like cmon whats wrong with you, modern towers are much better
CoACT is low mid rem and ToMT is much harder
PA is ovarhated like alot of steples are overhated there like SoAU SoHS ToCI SoDD and more, people say SoUB is one if the best steples in PA while i think its the worst on the game
SoHS is very overhated and its fun snd funnier then CoTAW and ToBIBI
well i understand why people hate ToGD, but i love it so much like its genually so fire🔥 its top 5 for me in zone 2 (tocm is the best)

ToHA is high-peak rem and ToUH baseline insane
ToS is high-peak challenging ans harder then ToSP ToIE and maybe even ToR its my least fav tower besides ToI and ToC
ToEP is good and that space part is STRAIGHT FIRE🔥 but its the only good tower in ring 6 the citadel is good as well but i havent even beaten it
