I love the outtakes!! One time we went to Vegas. When we came home my sun screen and little bottle of liquid stevia was missing. I was sure that TSA stole it!! A year+ later- I went to use a a travel container- there they both were! 😜I never opened that container when I put it away- and didn’t touch it until I was packing to travel again. 🤷♀️
Tissue paper between folds or stacked clothes will reduce wrinkles just like dry cleaner bags, and it’s easier to come by for me since I do almost all my dry cleaning at home. Happy travels & thanks!
For longer dresses, I use a second hanger to drape the lower part of the dress over, that keeps it from bunching in the bottom of the garment bag. It works in my closet as well. Love your channel and your ideas.
I never get anything dry cleaned any more, but if you use a dry cleaning bag/cover over your clothes before you put them in your suitcase it really cuts down on the wrinkles. Have been doing that for years!
@@jeannemc8087 thank you so much and that gown is listed in the video products so if you drop the video description it should be listed at the very top there with a picture🙏💕
Great video: the last few years we’ve traveled so casually dressed that a refresher in garment bags, packing more structured/formal clothes is timely. 😊
Thank you very much! I usually travel really casual, but sometimes you just need to have something dressy or formal depending on the trip and I thought it was a good idea to do a video on this since I had to do that recently!💕😊
Love your videos so much!! Thank you for all the good content! :) The longer the video the better. Love when you show every thing you go through prepping for a trip and during!!
Great video, Eunice. I’m glad you pointed out that irons and steamers aren’t allowed in cruise ships. We cruise often so we know this, but newbie cruisers might not. Also LOVED the bloopers!!!
There’s been some mixed reviews on that Rinker release, but I’m glad it’s working for you . I don’t use any fabric softener on my clothes and I’m not sure if Frank or is made with something like that. My skin tends to have reactions to those types of things.🤷♀️
Fantastic! Yes to packing things that don’t wrinkle. We’ve been on a few cruises and they had irons attached to the wall in the laundry rooms. I was able to get a few wrinkles out using the ones provided.
I am going to a hot climate and only have cotton. What to do ugh lol. Seriously the wonderful things that don't wrinkle are too hot for me. The hotel has an iron but what a drag. Wondering how much that steamer weighs and if it will work.
The stair works OK on cotton but it really requires an iron so if I was going to a hot climate with 100% cotton clothes, I would bring that little iron. It weighs less and takes up less room, and the heat of that iron is perfect for cotton.😊
It depends on where I’m going. Sometimes you just need an iron. But usually I accept the wrinkles. As you say, fabric choice is a prime consideration in determining what to pack.
Thanks and yes! Linen for me can be wrinkled…to me, it looks better slightly wrinkled. But big wrinkles need an iron. Some people have mentioned spraying the clothes down and then using a blow dryer to sort of steam the fabric, but I’m not sure if that will work on linen because it’s very resistant.. I’ve even gotten my linen soaking wet and tried hanging it, and it still did not get the wrinkles out. So for me, if I’m going to be bringing a lot of linen, I will bring that little iron. And the other reason why I like to bring my own iron is because one time I use the hotel iron and someone must’ve iron. Some thing that was synthetic and it got on the bottom of the iron, and when I had the iron on high it transferred to my garment.
Yes, the most important is type of material. Also I find that clothes with a pattern don't appear wrinkled as much as 'plain' clothes... so I always pack clothes with a design!
I always check if the hotel we're staying at has iron for clothes. I don't like wrinkly clothes. 😅 In a pinch I use the hairdryer to act as garment steamer. I used it to de-wrinkle my denim skirt and it worked fine. When I traveled with my family and the hotel we're staying at asked me to pay for the use of the iron, I just brought my own since we're checking in a bag anyway. Worth the space it occupied. 😊
I have never used any of those sorts of things, and I don’t even use any sort of fabric software when I do my clothing. I’ve had a reaction to some of those things before, so I tend to avoid it.🤷♀️
I love my blow up clothes hangers. Bought them 20 years ago in a sale. I first got 2 for 50 eoro cents each, went home, tried them, went back a couple of days later and they were reduced to 25 euro cents so I got the last 4 as well. I usually just take 2 with me on holiday. Funny how you never lose something of which you have spares at home. 😉😅
What a great deal! And I agree with you whenever I have an extra of something I never lose it but as soon as I only have one, it’s like the universe is saying you’re gonna lose it🤣

I recommend Merino wool. Totally wrinkle resistant goodness, completely comfortable, too. Not itchy like regular wool. Pricey, but IMO well worth it.
100% agree! Even in the more months I tend to wear, or at least bring Merino wool with me. I have yet to find any sort of formalwear in merino wool😊💕
If you take a flatiron that will help iron out wrinkles on sleeves/collars and some flatirons have temp settings.
Yes! Just like I showed the video😉
Never seen a blow up hanger! Off to Amazon I go!

Dry cleaner bags are great wrinkle reducers. Use them alot over cottons 💕

Thank you! Material choice is very important with cruising. You want to look pulled together and crisp when dining! 😊
I learned that I could use fabric release spray when our power went out for a week. I iron a lot. Good thing to have in that little spray bottle.

Eunice, do you have suggestions for packing for hot, hot weather clothes like linen?
