    Had my M3P 2 days, had two questions for features that I hadn't found yet, both answered in here - short and sweet, thanks!

    Thank you, this is very helpful.
    I prefer the Litchi app feature of Dynamic RTH. When Dynamic is selected the controller is always home.
    Dynamic is my default setting because it doesn't matter if home is my original takeoff point or I'm on a boat or bike ride... 99% of the time I want the drone to return to me and I have the controller.

      @@shaunthedrone cool. I live in Spain too (Vilanova just south of Barcelona) took my drone on my maiden flight on Sunday. Great weather for it! (I've registered the drone too so at least that buearacracy is out of the way) Thanks again. Subbed.

    Thanks Shaun for this helpful video. I have a Mini 3 since 2 weeks and I'm strugle to update my RTH point. I press the Controller button without succes and the Drone button is still selected. I have a message saying something can't access GPS coordinates. I Was in a park with a couple of trees. Do we need to be in a location free of obstacle like in your video?

    • @bobvila1010
      @bobvila1010 Рік тому +1

      BTW, I was able to update manually by dragging but not by pressing the Controller button.

    • @shaunthedrone
      @shaunthedrone  Рік тому

      Thank you Andre, glad you are enjoying your new drone. You do need a good GPS signal for it to work properly and sometimes trees can effect it. If you are in a location free of of obstacles, it should work much better. Good to know that you can move the location by dragging the RTH, didn't know that. Many thanks for watching :)

    Does pressing the controller button keep updating your home point if your moving? Or do you have to keep selecting it to update it

    • @shaunthedrone
      @shaunthedrone  9 місяців тому +1

      You have to select each time you want to re-set the Home Point. Many thanks for watching.

    How do you change the home point on a continuously moving craft, a boat say??

    • @shaunthedrone
      @shaunthedrone  Рік тому

      Good question and one I've never done in my life, it's not going to work if the boat is moving but if the boat is stationary, it should work. Or you could reset your position, RTH, and when you see the drone in the air, cancel RTH and take control, good luck :)

    While updating home point does it require to connect drone wifi with Mobile data?

    • @shaunthedrone
      @shaunthedrone  Рік тому

      Good question, the Home Point is to do with the controller and the device you are using and nothing to do with your mobile date. It's when you loose your drone that your mobile data (maps) is important if your in an area that you didn't save on your maps when flying :)

      It was a railway station built in the 1930's but never finished it, due to the Spanish Civil War. Now it's a hiking, cycle track. Thanks for asking and watching :)

    If the drone is tracking you will it avoid other people or moving objects? Could you possibly do a video testing it’s limitations?

    • @shaunthedrone
      @shaunthedrone  Рік тому +1

      Good question, I would say no but I will do a video request for you to test out it's limitations :)

    • @Simon67316
      @Simon67316 Рік тому +1

      @@shaunthedrone thanks, I worry if it’s tracking me from a safe height and it lowers itself to avoid a tree it could come below head height and potentially hit someone walking by. If it had a minimum height setting? That would solve it. 👍

      @@Simon67316 it's aways best for you to try it out in a open area with street lights and test walking about, if it loses track, it should stop and you take control again, good luck :)

    • @Simon67316
      @Simon67316 Рік тому +1

      @@shaunthedrone I suppose the test would be to see it the drone whilst tracking moves out of the way of an object that’s moving towards it or does it just stop and let the object crash into it. I’ll try it next time I’m out flying. 👍
