Guys, this lecture is for my biology students, and I don't necessarily think that UA-cam channel comments for teacher videos are an appropriate place for a religious discussion. I hate shutting down any discourse, but this topic has gone beyond what my students really need to see. If this conversation contained any scientific merit I would consider keeping it around for class discussion but as it exists now it is so full of misconceptions about evolution and religion that it would not be relevant for a science classroom. I'll let you guys wrap it up and then I'm shutting these comments off. Thank you.

I was confused when you mentioned that bryophytes did indeed have a cuticle when my bio 110 professor informed us in her lecture and power points that they do not. A couple google searches also confirmed this. If I'm wrong I'd be happy to inform my professor.

this does not explain how anything evolved, vascular systems just appeared? seeds just appeared? where are the evolutionary steps? how does slime turn into organized structures? plants are systems, not random collaborations of protists.
