The Carolina clash shouldn't be relegated to a bowl game. These two need to play each other during the regular season every year.

You gotta admit though, it made for a great ACC vs SEC game though regardless
That's nice thought, but there's 12 games in a season. We play the rest of the East and 2 West opponents. Clemson is required by state law. That's 9 games. We normally play 1 instate FCS school (SC State in 2022). We've played UNC/another ACC team as of late. 2022 is odd and we open with Georgia State and our other is Charlotte. Honestly, as cupcake as our 3 non-con/non-Clemson opponents look I'd argue they're not. All three will come to give us there best shot. We have UNC scheduled again in a few more years. And if we started playing UNC regularly then we'd need to add other ACC schools back. I'm fine playing them more, but then you can't play UNC annually. It's a fun rivalry and UNC fans get all uppity over the "Carolina" thing.

Joyner, first pass in 5 years, launches a 50 yard in the air pass perfectly into the hands of Bell. 9/9 with 170 yards and a td. Insane. I can't believe sc even got to a bowl game, winning I didn't even consider. Beamer is the fucking man.

Sec is always awful in bowl games
Just goes to show the SEC is generally a top heavy conference with most of the middle/low tier teams coasting on the reputation of the Bama, Georgia, LSU’s of the league.

@@handshoesandhorsegrenades1848 muschamp had Bentley Hilinski and Joyner all great qbs coming out of high school and none of them turned out to develop much under his system no matter the Offensive Coordinator. Joyner still has I believe a year or two left on his eligibility time clock thanks to a redshirt year and the Covid season so I have high hopes for him keep developing even If he isn’t in at qb

I presume that NC concentrated on the OL in recruiting. Howell was in peril just about every play shown here.
Not really we got one 5* OT but the rest of the big time recruits we got are skill positions or defensive players

Joyner never got a fair shake during his SC career, mostly because Muschamp and his staff couldn't develop QBs. So they moved him to WR. He deserved better. I don't know if there's a future for him beyond college ball but he was loyal (to a fault) and it made many of us SC fans so happy to see his last game be the best performance of his career. Hope nothing but the best awaits him for all his future endeavors.

DJ is a legend, bro didn’t play qb all throughout college and went 9-9 with 170 yards. Bell is insane as well. Josh Vann is a stud. And I believe all 3 of those guys are gonna be back (idk about Joyner). Then with Antoine Wells, Spencer Rattler, Stogner and all the RBs they’re bringing in…. Sheesh. I’m a Georgia fan but that offense will be scary next year.

Well you can get almost any type of barbecue sauce at most SC bbq joints. They may specialize in one, but they'll have mustard, vinegar, oil, tomato, and even white sauce at times. In NC you're relegated mostly to tomato or vinegar.
