I remenber when somebody where playing this game at the arcade and Doppleganger theme start to play every body around came closer to watch this game. Something similar happens with the Shedder theme with the TMNT game.
My guess is because people at the time couldn't get very far in both games, so to hear these themes meant that whoever was playing was skilled or had gotten quite far, right?
@@vicentegutierrez5496 In a way yes, for most ppl playing beat em ups games on arcades was not easy. For example I can beat the TMNT 2 Nes versión without losing any life, but doing the same with the arcade versión is pretty hard. So most ppl who reach that far is becasue you are very skilled or you wasted too many coins.
There is an odd glitch about this boss: if you play on a MAME emulator using the 4 characters controlled at the same time by player 1 (you can map controllers from general menu) immediately after Doppel appears and duplicate in 4 clones you must pause the game and save it. Close the game, open it and load the state. Do this over and over (load game; close it; open the game and load the state again) and EXACTLY around the 7th or 8th time Doppel will divide into 5 enemies instead of 4. I remember having this state saved on my MAME emulator to replay it again and again just for the chaos and fun. lol

Si lo juegas en el emulador MAME de la compu con los 4 personajes controlados al mismo tiempo por el jugador 1 justo al llegar con él esperas a que se duplique en los 4 clones y justo ahí debes pausar el juego y guardar esa partida. Cierras el juego y cargas ese estado y vuelves a hacer lo mismo (lo cierras, vuelves a abrirlo y cargas la partida guardada) como por la 7ma vez u octava vez que lo hagas Doppel se duplicará en 5 clones en lugar de 4 (normalmente quien se duplica dos veces es Baby Head y muy rara vez Mac the Knife)

One of those "buddy, i don't wish to fight you, but it looks like i got no choice 😔" moments.
It's like fighting yourself in this level.
