I think what’s she’s alluding to with “happy girl era” is the reality that’s she’s almost 30 but single, no man or family life. Being a bad bitch is cool and all but it’s short lived. Look at how even young Miami is talking about she’s 30 soon and NOW want to settle down. After BURNING her 20s being a city girl thot. I think in this case, Aaliyah didn’t burn it being a thot but did burn her 20s giving a single man way too many yrs of her life with no ring or progress. Only to break up and start from scratch at 30. We have to learn how not to burn the precious yrs of our lives.
