Silonce fini - betyr slutt på radiotaushet, dvs at vhf med ch 16 kan brukes på vanlig måte igjen

@@kriffen1793 Bummer. Anchor, would probably not have helped either, in that swell.

@@ConvairDart106 Correct, the ticking noise you hear from the boat is the sound of the anchor dragging on the seabed.

Yeah they said over radio they tried to throw anchor and try everything possible to slow it down from crashing into the rocks

@@oldshep2695 if you want to die, then you can try...
      edit:
it doesn't look bad, but it's only rocks around there, with allot of swellings + the water is pulling in many direction. anyone swimming in that, will at some point, either get a leg or arm, stuck between some rocks, or his head smashed inn. It's safer to wait for the rescue helicopter, to pick you up. That is what these fishermen are trained at. jumping into the sea, should always be last resort and going into the raft should be deployed and ready, for if you go into that raft, up there in Northern Norway, you don't have long time until Hypothermia kicks in and kill you. When falling into cold water, you have only minutes on you, up here (in winter time, approx 4 minutes +- if you are lucky)

There's no beach. Its rocky shores with heavy waves, they'd get smashed to pieces.
