He meant Shāfiʿ , one of the forefathers of Imām Ash-Shāfiʿī. Note; Imām Ash-Shāfiʿī رحمه الله ‘s name is attributed to his forefather, Shāfiʿ. His actual name is Muḥammad Ibn Idrīs. May Allāh allow us to truly follow the Imām in his methodology and ʿaqīdah - following the Footsteps of the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
2: 99. *And surely We have sent down into you clear verses, and none hide them except the transgressors.* Verse 9: 67 ends as: “Indeed the hypocrites, they are the transgressors”. It is told in verse 6: 90: “Indeed, this is nothing except a Reminder for entire worlds”. That means those who hide Adhikr after receiving It are hypocrites. They are the people who have forgotten Lord and themselves as told both in verses 9: 67 and 59: 19. It is told in verse 6: 49: “Those who were rejecting Our verses, punishment will affect them since they were transgressors”. None repudiates with Our verses except the disbelievers and wrongdoers as told in verses 29: 47 and 49 respectively. It is told in verse 10: 33 that the word of the Lord has happened true upon the transgressors that indeed, they will not become believers. The Trust Adhikr is revealed to punish the hypocrites and their blind followers as told in verses 33: 72-73 and 48: 6. Verse 46: 35 ends by asking: “Will anyone be destroyed except transgressing people?” It is told in verse 80: 17: “The one who hid Adhikr which is the Ticket to Paradise has been killed”. It is told in verse 63: 4 that the hypocrites have been killed and in verses 51: 10-11 It is told that “Those who live as intoxicated and aimless after getting Adhikr have been killed”. Those who didn’t judge in his individual, family, and social life with Adhikr are the disbelievers, wrongdoers, and transgressors as told in verses 5: 44, 45, and 47 respectively. The believer who testifies Adhikr shouldn’t obey the Fujjar as told in verses 33: 1 and 48. He shouldn’t seek forgiveness for the Fujjar nor perform the funeral prayer for them as told in verses 9: 84-85. Since there is no group of believers anywhere in the world, the odd believer should follow the mode of prayer and lifestyle explained in verses 7: 205-206. See explanation 1: 7; 2: 11-14, 88-89, and 5: 49. *From Adhikr-the Best Interpretation of Lord's Book* www.straightpathonline.com
