This is really the best concert --- for many. Do it totally -pls. They are young and so pure, genuine at this time still. Note the lightning in the beginning - like underwater glow and rays in a sea. Ocean is deep, it is silent and for Tuomas -complete. Yes in the end you nail it...they were happy during this concert and it took them up with huge step...and therefore so IMPORTANT in NW history. You get the answers when doing the whole concert...

It's from the 3rd album, Wishmaster. Dedicated to the ocean, and has lines from Shakespeare. From Wishes to Eternity was recorded 29 December ,2000. Sami wasn't with them much longer. The last thing recorded with him (Over the Hills and Far Away EP) was released the following June.

I just love this concert since 22 or 23 years now, and i always prefer it over "End of an era" because first i like the whole more gothic style really, and also .. yeah thats young and happy Nightwish .. and the title "End of an era" alone is already depressing. Its only too bad that the didn't played "Sleeping sun" there.

I think it is in this concert that Tarja sings wishmaster, the same as the studio version and different from end of an era show. I love both!

Personally I do not care about Sami abd Emppu permuting, the beauty of Tarja's voice and the quality of her singing really stand out on this song
Agreed. Emppu is a great player but I feel like he gets too much attention? 😂 Also his mannerisms can get old pretty fast.
