"The song is basically about having bullshit forced down your throat, whether it is lies from the media, unimportant drama, abuse from a significant other, etc. "Vanilla paste" represents something you are digesting, which has no nutritional value or substance. It is just... flavoured paste. It tastes sweet and stimulates your senses, but it is not actually doing anything for you. You cannot survive off of nothing, and that is what that crap is... nothing. In this song, we have people who have been fed this "nothing" their whole lives, and they are tired of it. They are ready to make a change." Justin Bonitz

Lyrics:
[Justin Bonitz]
I said I’m never living like this
Here we go, heat the knife
-Maybe end up dead
Notice, everyone’s a little red
Could it be? Could it be?
Could it be that you faked it just to push a narrative?
Hide your kids, hide your wife
I’m about to play God
I’ve made a lot of enemies,
And I want their heads
Eat up!
O’ here comes another full-course meal!
You’ll be fine
[Garett Hood - Guerilla Warfare]
(Eat it up)
Playin’ God, Imma’ act a heathen
The bastard child and the non-believer
Ain’t gonna’ lie; I get mad, but then I get even
Keep it movin’
I’m bobbin’ and weavin’
Can’t touch me
I stay on my king shit, me and this slugger-bat, swingin’
Louisville City made like an Ali hit
I see you on the other side of the screen seethin’
I can’t stand how you’ still on and on on that poor, pitiful me bit
They say success is the best revenge,
But honest, I still wish that you’d stop fuckin’ breathin’
Bitter bitchin’ but I’m back and better
-Some shoot to kill, but now I aim to maim ‘em to death
Done shovelin’ shit; you can go shove this here-bitch
[Justin Bonitz]
But I’ve gotten used to shoveling crap
Hide your kids, hide your wife
I’m about to play God
If I gave you wiggle-room,
Would you make amends?
Eat up!
O’ here comes another full-course meal!
You’ll be fine
‘Cause dead men don’t vomit,
And you’ve all come so damn far!
There’s no need to call a cab back home
You’ll be fine
[AJ Channer - Fire From The Gods]
Tell them again
They think I’m breaking in silence
I’m just contemplating violence
So sick of the bullshit, so sick of all the hatred
Can’t take all the noise
I make the choice
When all I have is my fucking voice
By now, you should know
That I’ve had enough of your boot on my neck
I’ve had enough
[AJ + Justin in background]
Well, I find myself sitting in the corner
Contemplating what Hell looks like through these eyes
Well, I can’t imagine Heaven looks any different
From the Hell that’s our life
So sick of the pain
So sick of the paranoia
Sick of the rage
Sick of looking in the mirror
Seeing myself-a manmade horror-horror
[Justin Bonitz]
Like a fly, you’re so full of shit
Everyone’s a little red
Everyone’s a little red
Everyone’s a little red and so full of shit
Crippled-corrupt
-That’s all they are
But wait! You’ll get what your heart cried for
Eat up!
O’ here comes another full-course meal!
You’ll be fine
‘Cause dead men don’t vomit,
And you’ve all come so damn far!
There’s no need to call a cab back home
You’ll be fine
Everyone’s a little red
Everyone’s a little red
Everyone’s a little red
Until they show how they feel
[Tom Barber- Darko/Chelsea Grin]
Spew, I spew forth blades
Just to get ‘em out
Just to get ‘em out
I know it’s for the better if you just step aside
I’m retching, folding, pleading
Trying to spit up what I’m holding deep inside
Are you famished?
Are you famished?
Are you famished?

Sup loudwire
Nice
Up up down down left right left right
They ARE the cheat code
The cheat code to make bad music?
BANGER!
Real talk though. I hope taste-makers like you get the word out on this one because this is something that should have WAY more attention. This SHOULD be one of those breakthrough tracks. (I say all out of love
cant wait to see your reaction to this, i saw hoopsicks one where i orignally found out tallah did a reaction, and this video is insane
Reaction pleasee!!!!
@@TheGuga1994 he did one on Twitch with a guest so I don’t think he is doing one proper.
Where's react?
Nu Metal never died. It just got WAY fucking heavier!
NuMetalcore 🤘🏻
Yeah, this is just a hole New category of heavy metal
This is 100% not nu metal.
@@machina4279 a lot of the grooves and guitar and drum work would say different, fren
@@DistrictWitch means fuck all. This isn't nu metal. This is shit core.
THIS SONG HAS MORE ELEMENTS THAN THE PERIODIC TABLE. I FUCKING LOVE IT
🤣🤣🤣
Truly. It's a mosaic masterpiece!
And it's heavier than any single element on it
say it before and i'll say it again
tallah deserves all the success they're gonna get
I thought it was, If you think you're alive then you're better off dead?
Say it again rn
Same as soon as I herd them I knew they were gonna be great
Completely agree mate, how its not already happened is unbelievable. So much talent people have left to discover and its still proper early days.
Song starts: “oh nice Tallah’s back”
Song ends: “I think I shit myself”
Bro deadass idk wtf just happened.
This is one of the best comments EVER🤣
You mught wanna see a doctor of this continues to happen
@@parasitepreachr I am honored 🙏🙏
I was to confused and simultaniously amazed to shit myself...
Just when you think a Tallah song couldn't get ANY more intense...the other 5 and 1/2 minutes of the song proves you wrong. KILLER!
The chorus sucks to be honest the intro and outro is not bad though
@@shark7n10the chorus is the best part
3:09 my favorite part. The backing vocals from Justin give me goosebumps.
Yup. Justin's high note in the background is way undersold hahaha!
Dude I swear that part is so incredibly sick I cant put it into words
If Tallah doesn't get extremely huge...there's something so wrong with the music industry.
This is an absolute banger and it feels original for once. They deserve everything that's coming for them! Probably my new favourite band :)
Agreed. There is a lot wrong with the music industry, but hopefully not too much to prevent Tallah from the big break they deserve.
@@evanblake5252 guess we gotta hope and share
The music industry being fucked is a well known thing.
@@rorydean5108 I'm aware.
metal nerds like me will like them of course, but if they wanna go more mainstream they should make shorter songs, that's my advice to all new bands, you won't get bigger making 6-7 minutes songs unless you're fucking iron maiden or something like that.
Max Portnoy beating those drums like they dishonored his bloodline
Tallah members: I don't think that's vanilla at all
Earache staff: JUST EAT IT ALREADY!
One minute later 3 demons came out from nowhere, one right after another
I don't think I have ever been this impressed with a band in my entire life
Tom’s part is like the final boss’s surprise final form
I agree!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fucking mood, dude
Are you famished?
Alpha 3 Bison with infinite super...
Metal is still so ALIVE and it makes me SO happy.
If Tom is in a song the song is the absolute truth being spoken.
He has some interesting views on things, I’ll say that
Yes my dude!!!!
AJ too tbh.
You just don’t hear original stuff like this anymore. You’re in a class of your own, Justin. What a fucking banger this song is!!!!! 🤘 🤘 🤘 🔥 🔥 🔥
Definitely. This is what nu metal originally was about.
True
Lmao you actually do tho but okay
@@Candyman9721 we have to push em tho
@@Candyman9721 not really ngl. Getting harder.
Come on, now. This is exactly what we need in the scene. Collabs like this are so rare.
the harmonizing between AJ and Justin is so damn good holy SHIT... hearing it with headphones on is like an ascension
Jesus man, Tallah never misses when making music
The whole song was a trip, I love it. The drums and Tom's part though jesus!!!
Justin is the only man that can start a breakdown with the splits stg
I'm Overconfident that this is going to be huge! 🔥🔥🔥

Oof! That hit hard. Tom’s part was the perfect ending. Didn’t realize it before, but I got Code Orange vibes from this. Not a bad thing, whatsoever.
Fitting seeing as though max is also in code orange now
"KYLE, SHOULD I EAT THE CUTTLEFISH AND ASPARAGUS OR THE VANILLA PASTE?"
At this point Justin is filling the void in my heart after Chester Bennington. The raw energy, the passion. I can't get enough of this band. They kill it since first release of Placenta
Literally nothing like CB.

Shockingly underrated. Sound like the first bit of original metal I've heard in years! Awesome artistry
Tallah is the best band to come out within the last decade. Tallah forever!!
Tallah and Orbit Culture 🤘🏼🤘🏼
@@chrisscott820 agreed to that 1000%
@@chrisscott820 and Avatar (even though they are over a decade old). Thx for naming Orbit Culture, havent heard from them before and now I got new music to listen to
@@rhabeldibabeldi6812 avatar is an awesome band. Orbit Culture is my all time favorite band, they have a new EP coming out 9/24, and have released 2 songs from it, Flight of the Fireflies and Carvings. Both are awesome.
I would have to agree
Oh I thought Tallah was the heaviest and most tasty band in the last decade. Then after this, Justin's vocals opened up a black hole in my bedroom, and the breakdown at the end created a new line at the bottom of the periodic table....
The ending vocals were from our boy Tom Barber! My bad if I read that wrong but if you dug those vocals he uses em ALL the time in his band Darko US!!
@@CUNTBLASTER69420 and his main band Chelsea Grin
With unknown physical properties
"Yo, what genre you wanna make this song?"
Tallah - "yes"
*Brutal breakdown "Ok, guys I'm doing a splits" - Justin, every time...
What a damn breath of fresh air. I cannot get enough of your guys' music: you find a way to be unique in such a saturated subgenre, and it's incredible. Sidenote - PLEASE do a collab with Jason from FEVER 333. I think it would be one for the ages
It fills me with so much joy seeing Justin come from some dude competing in a Jared Dines vocal contest to his solo project Hungry Lights and now THIS!!
I just casually destroyed my living room listening to this insane piece.. loved every second of it, best band ever !
I just love this band so much....
Not sure if he's an influence, but Justin's haunting vocals definitely remind me of Kyo from Dir En Grey. I dig it.
That’s what I was thinking especially with that first clean vocal. Both super talented
He has mentioned Dir En Grey before, so that's very possible.
Reminds me of some Japanese vocalist in some band.
Their A friend Like Me cover gave me DEG vibes
I can hear abit of Kyo in his voice for sure but I'm pretty sure Justin said Disney villains is his biggest influence and with the way he manipulates his voice you can really hear it
wow. first tallah song for me, I am about as far away from disappoint as my jaw that has fallen to the floor
Definitely listen to the rest of their music, they live up to the hype.
holy shit.
Im gonna spread yer name like a venereal, criminally underrated.
Pantera might've reinvented the steel, but Tallah clearly is reinventing the whole metal genre.
so we need a tallah/guerilla warfare/fire from the gods/Chelsea grin (or darko) tour with this as an encore right?
yeah basically
Sadly Darko prob won’t ever tour unless they get a full band to play. Plus Baby J joined Spite now too after he left Emmure so Darko is still his side project. I’d kill to see and hear Darko stuff live tho, been one of my favorite releases this year.
@@wrxhex They could always do touring musicians/tracks if they really wanted to tour, id love to get in the pit to darko!
@@edge4266 yeah I mean I’d KILL to see them live, they’ve easily been one of my tops especially after their LP. Just wish it was more of than just a studio type band is all.
CG slaps tf, or darko my ass
Update: On my second listen now, already the song's grown on me quite a bit. I think some of my initial reaction came from me being tired when I first listened. Now I'm more awake, partially know what's coming up from my first listen, loving it! Some of my concerns/gripes are still present but they're easily dwarfed by all the good things about the song. A weird twisting and turning banger. The song goes so many directions and shifts tone so much over the course it's like three songs combined into one. Tallah are an unstoppable force. And Justin, that chorus is gorgeous. Features added a really cool and different dynamic to the song.
Think I can safely call this one of my favorites so far.
This song takes you on a ride. Great song to light one up and go on a trip.
🔥 🔥 🔥
Same bro. Already one of my favorites, and I was definitely not expecting features lol. They add a ton though
@@justinvarieur4700 Yeah. Still plenty of Justin but the features add a special dynamic as well. Looking forward to whatever else Tallah's got moving forward, features or no features.
Yoooo Evan what's up?
I´ve actually listened to this track once and idk what to say, it's kind of left field but I really dig it, but yes I do agree that this track needs multiple listens
@@saito2582 Hey, I don't remember you, sorry. Could you refresh my memory? Anyway though, this is now my favorite Tallah song. Think I just had to hear it enough to know it well.

This one single felt like a full length adventure, always a unique twist in each section too, really digging this one
Justin is just simply one of the best people ever. Everytime i see him or hear his vocals i smile 😃
Damn Tom Barber and Justin together fucking kill it
I love the From First to Last vibes on the main course 2:06 has heavy Sonny Moore sounds and it's amazing
Yess
As a nu-metal kid since 1999, this band is my favorite thing to happen to heavy music in forever.

It’s growing on me A LOT! The FFTG / second cameo vocalist is the highlight of the song for me. Now just for Justin to release Hungry Lights album 5…
Don't hold your breath, it'll be a couple years still probably before Hungry Lights album 5. Justin is releasing a solo project later this month though.
