From the interviews with Max Crawford (former NRS programmer), it was revealed that he was the one who voiced Shang Tsung in Deception, Shaolin Monks, and Armageddon. And even though the actual lines were done by James Kyson Lee, Max did the battle grunts for Shang Tsung in MKvsDC because James Kyson Lee is a real actor, and WB insists on having union actors in their games.
