Just to add my GSD had to lose her back leg and she is no different to how she’s always been. She has a fantastic quality of life, nothing has changed for her, she doesn’t need a wheelchair she is perfectly fine running around on 3 legs and still runs like the wind. I totally agree with putting down a SICK animal but losing a limb to an injury doesn’t ruin a dogs quality of life and is a very extreme reason to put the animal down😅 I understand if you can’t afford the surgery but if you can afford it it’s not fair on the animal to just put it down if you can’t be bothered with helping them adjust to give them a few more years of a happy life
