We bought a house in Bogue in 2021. We will retire there, hopefully in a year or two. To be able to get to the rose hall area and avoid downtown traffic will be priceless. 👍🏽
Oh that's awesome! Understand fully now the reason for your comment 🙂 and congrats! Totally agree though, we will be able to leave from Montego Bay to Trelawny & St. Ann without spending 45mins trying to make it through the town area.
@@DronesEyeView so true! We won't have an automobile until after we are there. For now we will be using ebikes, which will make a trip possible without worrying about recharging. Even to the airport it will allow for a more meaningful departure time from the house.
Hopefully the transportation planners of this project will leave sufficient space for the future addition of additional lanes to relieve traffic congestion...
From what dimensions i have seen being used and the areas being cleared...it does not seem like any such provisions are being made Sir...none if all my observations do not allow such accommodations to date...
Jamaica certainly has an abundance of lime stone and CHEC is saving alot in reusing the material on the construction of this bypass. Secondly Jamaica is benefitting from exporting it which has resulted in export up 50 million and import down by 150 million which has help cause this export surplus and its the first since 1966
Interesting details here. Thanks for sharing. For some areas, they need to cut through hills, for other areas they need it to be elevated. Just a matter of moving around materials, which is very economical.
Hi. We covered that area not so long ago. Our friend, KingNaldo shared a link. We also did Cherry Gardens as well. Here's a link to that area: ua-cam.com/video/YLMMlxk6v8g/v-deo.htmlsi=wGKk3KUykyaO7-81
Hoping the same. Some homeowners have been relocated already whilst some refuse to move/leave, which is typical. Hoping for the desired path, that it will not affect too many persons.
You need to put the videos in context. Show us some maps and point out where on the maps we are being shown. I live in Montego Bay and right now I am not sure if the thing starts at Bogue or Westgate Hills. Great works none the less.
When you examine the ruggedness/complexity of the terrain and engineering challenges you realize that the Chinese are giving Jamaica a HUGE discounted construction price...!
It goes without saying that the environment will be negatively affected which is normal anywhere in the world but we hope the quality of the work will be above the average. We are even going to loose some of our heritage sites.
from 2005 a mouth talk that!!! We are Jamaican 🇯🇲 we dill with action!!!!!!!!! No fake promise see the idea but was so busy stealing our money an sell we air port boxsite no credit for them.
Question, why isn't Jamaica investing in residential highrises instead of individual homes when you are literally running out of spaces in the major cities? Wouldn't this give the middle and lower classes a realistic shot at property ownership and a decent roof over their heads?
@countvan7406 no because NHT did it in Kingston and it 35mil up for them. Even if they do it they will not make it affordable to the average 9-5 worker
Well done..finally an non self-adsorbed intelligent mobay vlog
Thank you very much sir! Really appreciate this feedback. Thanks so much too for stopping by and we certainly hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers!
Thank you for the great footage, I can not wait till the bypass passes by Bogue supermarket.
You're most welcome sir! We hope you enjoyed the tour.
Any particular reason for that wish?

Hope that not many houses and other buildings will be displaced 👍

Let the government build around it like China did, people in China who refuse to move sell or whatever China gad to work around their properties
Thanks to a government that get things done ✅ bagga mouth no work is action

There are multiple sections in parallel development.
Please do a fly-over of the new 4x 28 storey Pinnacle development at Reading, Mobay...
Have they already started?
@@douglasjoseph2097 I hear that construction fencing for the project has been put up for a few months ago...
Has there been any developments passed fencing? Are u aware?

Will the Long Hill bypass also be four lanes?
want to see the bypass for longhill
Hope they replant some more trees 🌳 that cleaned out

Hope that environmental and stormwater management are appropriately addressed
Will it be a toll road, do you know?
It was in the initial plans, but we have learnt they are no longer adding toll booths to this development
Is this a toll free bypass because I am tired of paying to drive on every highway in Jamaica and its not cheap
Show step by step maps
from 2005 a mouth talk that!!! We are Jamaican 🇯🇲 we dill with action!!!!!!!!! No fake promise see the idea but was so busy stealing our money an sell we air port boxsite no credit for them.
Is people who never bother to listen while they were in school just talk without knowing the truth.
Talk and show the most important and dangerous part of the long hill area side of the land, not the other side of the city to the north.
The Long Hill bypass will be constructed later...
Thanks to China
Thanks to let the country is start from 2005,because some people is a dunce
It have to be a toll road because that's how the developer/contractor is going to recover his investment.
The money didn't borrowed
That's the difference between this and all the other highway projects
They could give the Chinese government lands across the rugged hills around the Perimeter Road near Salt Spring/Flower Hill for housing development..
Video of road not done good enough because I'm seeing housing scheme more than the actual road

@@richlyblessed3973 That's sad. So what's the realistic option for the poor man and the middle class?
