Sure it's hard but the your results are great actually! And no one complain!
The easiest way is to not tilt it towards the left hand (it makes the b2i easier) and just give it a backwards reaction, with a slight bounce when the slide goes forward.
Even if you're slide is locked back, give it a slight pull effect. S
