When i was a kid my dad was always putting that song. Today i'm an adult and i still remember those moments in the car traveling ... 80's and 90's best songs !
This music was also made to earn a lot of money, and they pretty well succeeded in that. But Dieter Bohlen just managed to create an unique new style based on italodisco music and he problably knew that singing with falsetto voice intriges and attracts a lot of people.

I was born in 1994 and I never appreciated 80s music at the time, when I was about 17 I started to prefer 80s music over anything in my time... now I can't get enough of it at 27, if you were born after the 80s like me let me know! I think there's a massive fan base for 80s music from people not actually born in that time, I feel like 80s and 90s people and anyone else born later who like this are all the same, all awesome people with great taste

Around 2005 I was playing this song in my room and my Indonesian roommate heard and loved this song. The song reminded him of his country Indonesia and how big this song was in his country. So I guess this song was big in Indonesia and Asia and not as much in America. Well, this American loved and heard this song in the clubs and made sure to find the record in 1985-86.

I was born in 1994 and I never appreciated 80s music at the time, when I was about 17 I started to prefer 80s music over anything in my time... now I can't get enough of it at 27, if you were born after the 80s like me let me know! I think there's a massive fan base for 80s music from people not actually born in that time, I feel like 80s and 90s people and anyone else born later who like this are all the same, all awesome people with great taste

Around 2005 I was playing this song in my room and my Indonesian roommate heard and loved this song. The song reminded him of his country Indonesia and how big this song was in his country.
So I guess this song was big in Indonesia and Asia and not as much in America. Well, this American loved and heard this song in the clubs and made sure to find the record in 1985-86.
