He was said also to have never received royalties for the toys sold in his likeness. Lots of Boxers with multi-million dollar fights under their belt, struggling themselves with Promoters and Agents draining their salaries.

This wasnt shown on cable back then. I grew up in West Helena, Arkansas back in the mid-80's...and Memphis Wrestling was shown on NBC on Saturday mornings (we got the Memphis version of ABC, CBS and NBC, neither isnt cable). All you needed was antenna ears back in those days to watch this.
