I actually wonder if this song is based off the roman catholic church in the 1500's or so when they sold "forgivness" for your sins, when in fact, it was all fake. It's an intresting part in history since they were ironically THE roman catholic church and manipulated people into believing the things they were selling could give salvation. I think it'd actually fit in with the rest of the series and songs.
