Question, how do you turn though? Like, if you want to do a 180 and run, you just have to hold the controller to the left? Whereas turning with a stick you turn and let go.
no it's like a mouse, i just turn my controller left / right to do a 180. if i turn the controller a certain degree, the aim will stay there unless i turn more. and it will instantly change direction, if i turn it the other way, not like a stick where you have to cross that mid-point of the analog stick.
@ yeah I’ve been playing with it today on BO6 and it’s so much fun. I think I need to get used to resetting my center with the touchpad more. My aim is god like on your settings though lol.
@@TypicallyUniqueOfficial love to hear that mate!🙌 yeah ratcheting takes a few das to get used to, you could also use the right stick to counteract the camera movement from resetting the controller. although i think getting used to ratchet, you could make the "conductive tape mod" for the DS5 to "rewire" the touchpad wherever you want on the controller.
You have inspired me to build an Alpakka myself. I only have a ps5 and a steam deck. Could you give me advise on the mouse settings / acceleration in Bo6? I have tried your sensitivity on the duelsense and I like it! I just hate the recentering issue on ps5
love to heat that!💙 it's a little bit complicated to explain, some other people have asked about alpakka settings. i think i'll do a video on how i set it up and what sens i use soon. but in short, i use RawAccel and set it up to get a minor accel setting (RWS 5.5 - 8) with a little offset. and vertical sens at 0.5625x
Cool! If you make the video, could you also look into the native acceleration setting to see how it compares? For the ones on the Ps5 I mean, who can’t use RawAccel
@@IetjesBeter the accel settings i've shown in the video, are very similar to the ones i use with RawAccel. The major differnce is that you can't set an offset in the native implementation, so the Accel goes linear from 5.2 - 8.
Is there a reason you are using wired over wireless? I use to play alot of gyro myself and i was able to get a pretty good setup with Bluetooth working. I used a USB extension cable (so i could place it in a good spot) paried with an ASUS bluetooth adapter.
Great video I'm used to steam input, is the 8 sensitivity true world scale or some random COD specific metric? Cause 8 is super high if that is the case but I'm guessing your acceleration setting might mitigate it??
iirc max value is 40 and it has acceleration built in. 1 sensitivity is one full 360°. not sure how it actually scales but yes its very sensitive especially in ADS
@gimmejokers3948 okay thanks. Your threshold might help dramatically. I will try and replicate something like that in steam. I do prefer high sense myself but I find over 5.5 can cause jiggers and it gets much worse when I'm stressed haha
yeah the sens in CoD is RWS. the accel settings help to stabilize, although my starting RWS with this settings is RWS 5.2 which some would already consider high sens. but if you preffer high sens, definitely give it a try and don't forget to reduce the vertical sens which also greatly help reduce jittering.
I've tried several different controles and setups to get gyro and motion controls menu to show up while on xbox/cloud on a mac. I don't think it is supported at all. Even xbox/cloud on my iPhone using back stage controller, can't get gryo to work. Still works on CODM.
i have no experience with mac. i play on xbox game pass and it's there even when using a Xbox controller. what controller are you using? Xbox controllers don't have gyro.
they both have their Pros & Cons. Alpakka has the best feeling Gyro, i really like the 9-direction switch, scroll wheel and the mapping app. the 3D printed case doesn't feel as good in the hands as a DS5 for example. The DS5 has really good ergonomics and feels great in the hands imo. and it has a right stick, if you want it. the gyro is also great, just slightly worse than Alpakka
One thing i notice with the ps5 gyro controller is that even if you have a 1to1 sensitivity, the controller loses its center. So if i have the controller facing forward, then I aim to the right, then return to the initial position, the in game position won't be the actual initial position. Hopefully this makes sense. Is this also an issue with the alpaka controller? With a mouse, you move a certain distance, and then return to the initial position, then in the game it's going to return to the initial position
this isn't the PS5 controller itself, it has something to do with Sony's Input API. they have auto calibration baked in if you use the nativ gyro implementations. it doesn't happen if you use the PS5 controller with steam input or JSM. the alpakka also doesn't have this issue
I experienced this when above 1 sens.i found the center drift happens when the different gyro sensitivities and deadzones don't scale well. they all relate to each other and u got to "harmonize" all of them. then it gets much better or is gone. sadly it's difficult to explain, it doesn't seem to be logical. but generally less is more.
@@ggs1821tested it again. game has weird settings. adding steadying it appears to filter movement after detection instead before when its to low. but add to much and u get a rubber band feeling. when u add "initial scale" it gets really wonky. I let it at zero for now and lower ADS. not ideal. instead of calibrating gyro the 2 settings fight it
I have a controller with this technology! I don't know how to set it up correctly. The controller is called Raibow Pro 2 by Big Big Won. If I use the same settings as you, would it look like this? Thanks, great video!
Native Gyro only works with Sony's DS4 or DS5 controllers. If your on PC you can use Steam Input or JSM to set up Gyro. afaik, you could also use DS4Windows to emulate a DS4 controller
bigbig is good for stick only but don't bother with the gyro. there are no options but sony or alpakka with sensors and drivers that work as they should. I have the rainbow.
I forgot to mention: Make sure to set "Gravity Vector" to "Gravity".
🔥 video bro
thanks!🙌
best gyro player in the EU🔥🔥
🙌
Great stuff! I need to give these settings a try.
Does motion sensor settings available on console ? Cus I can’t find it
only on PS5, at the buttom in the "Aiming" tap
Xbox doesn't support it and Xbox controllers don't have Motion Sensors, unfortunately
@ okay, thanks man
I would love gyro to be competitive so there will be good controllers with native gyro.
It's more about good native implementations than good technology. The technology is there for the most part.
Great video man!
thanks!🙌

i play with a switch controller, i use the right stick click to reset gyro and i dont know if its more easy with the touchpad

native gyro only works with a wired connection. and i usually use the Alpakka anyway. 😄

@runadumb the vertical multiplier being around half and resting your hands on a desk or your lap are pretty important to keep it steady.
@@aboveaveragebayleaf9216 yeah I have the vertical at -25 and use my lap to steady the controller.

try it with a USB cable connected and disable steam input (if your playing via steam)
