Thank you for commenting! I'm so happy that this project is not limited to being just a video, but actually something valuable for people who can't play regular games.
Out of all the "Making a game for blind people" videos I've seen on UA-cam, This is truly the best! It's super cool you fit a little story into the game, and multiple different mechanics I will say the car sounds were less good in quality but other than that this is really awesome to see (or hear!) I'm only legally blind because I'm pretty short sighted, but I can already tell this would be a really cool experience for those fully visually impaired!
@@Vav97wish it was on iOS I am totally blind and have been looking for games that I can play and when I saw this, I was enjoying it the whole time you did a really good job.
We just not gonna talk about Floky hitting that at 00:01? Alright, cool. I'll just stand over here. Amazing video btw. I love your ideas for games/videos
The concept seemed so intriguing that I downloaded and played the game myself. Even knowing the mechanics beforehand, I found the game difficult. Whenever I try to sight in on my target, I hear the 'tick' confirmation and always miss. When the confirmation sounds, my reaction is delayed enough so finger has moved past the target. I will often need to move the crosshairs randomly around the target, trying to get multiple 'ticks' and "center" the voice in my earbuds. This is a time-consuming process and one I can't afford during the timed segments of the game. A small suggestion is to add a constant tone, like a heartbeat or breathing, whenever a target is sighted. This would allow the player to know the boundaries of where the target is and aim accordingly. The other critique I have is small, but it annoys me constantly: The Cutscenes. I constantly die to the timed sections, making me restart the game from the beginning. While the dialogue and tutorial are fine, it proves annoying when trying to sight in the first target. All I would like to do is get back to the section I failed at as fast as possible, so having to sit through dialogue I have heard several times before and repeat tedious sections gets on my nerves. A simple Checkpoint after each segment cinematic could remedy this, letting the player choose to restart at a point before the current section or from the beginning. The option to mute cinematic dialogue would be nice, letting the player focus on the mission and still keep the helpful guidance of your partner when finding enemies. I am not sure if you are still developing this game after nearly 5 months, but I will understand if this is just a proof of concept/ a steppingstone game for you. Feel free to ignore or implement my advice. Thanks for the experience, fun even with my nitpicks. Have a nice day.
This deserves more views. Story is surprisingly nice and well implimented for such a setting and gameplay is fairly simple yet as we saw very engaging and even breathtaking. Great job man!
tbf you CAN tell which direction noise is coming from, as long as the target is stationary. here's how: Step 1: Find any noise by randomly looking around Step 2: Move right Step 2.5: Is the sound getting louder or quieter? If louder, good, move right until it starts getting quieter. Step 3: The sound is getting quiter? Move the opposite direction (in this example it'll be left) Step 4: Repeat step 2 and 4, but with up/down Step 5: Congratulations! You are now aiming at your target.
Actually, games without visuals and only sound are INFINITELY MORE TERRIFYING THAN WITH VISION. Whatever your mind cooks up will be 100x more terrifying than what you’re actually in.
Indeed, i didn’t really intented the game to be so stressful, and I didn’t feel like it is, as I knew everything that is happening there, but for new players it turned out to be stressful 😄
Its very cool project. Its amazing. You should improve the quality like a Hitman game. And have a saves load because its bad when you faild n must stsrt the hold gstory again
I am a visually impaired person I tested the app and it's really good at the beginning I turned on the recording and then saw what I was doing based on the sound Completing the game is difficult in the last stage, but it is a very interesting experience
Spatial sounds are a really cool part of games that often goes under-utilized. It’s cool to see a project built around the concept.
Indeed it was really interesting to work on that part. It's a thing you don't usually work on in other games.
I'm blind in my left eye and even though this doesn't fully pertain to me, I'm glad to see you doing this. Thank you!

very interesting idea! I thought about making an MMORPG for blind people...
MMO as a single dev... well...
Super hard thing to do :)
And that was how a blind mf killed some criminal mafia guy.
exactly :DD
I hope you will make The next tower defence Devlog
Very creative and thoughtful! I hope you get to make more levels

It would be cool to adapt that game to multi player, alley/ennemis

Good game. I will try it myself.
The extra time we had to wait was worth it!
So happy to hear that! 😁Thank you!
That's really interesting kind of game. Try to make more deep game from this concept and publish in steam. I think it will make sales
Thanks, my goal is not making money on this project, so it’s just there on google play for anyone that wants to play 🙂

Good job on this! This video is cool!!!!

To do the vertical stuff, you could raise and lower the pitch of the sound.
Genius idea! I love this concept. Keep doing what you're doing Vav.
