@@maninblack3410 Tekken is a little weird because the inputs have carried over and been built upon and rarely had moves deleted since like 3 or 4. 7 came out in 2015 before FGs were as big and before YT was the resource it is today. So there haven’t been a ton of Tekken beginners in a long time. Videos in general have come a long way in the last few years, since MK11 launch and on imo. All resources have improved massively. Tekken in general has a way to go to catch up. There are some good creators who do lots of games that are doing videos for 8 now. Back in the day when you looked up a character guide for any game all it would be is full speed videos of back to back combos with no voiceover explaining and just showing inputs at the bottom. It was RARELY strategies and stuff like that. This is a good video, but it’s missing a lot of elements for true beginners. For example I had never heard “crouch dash” before and had to go look it up, even though I can hit perfect electrics like 80% 😂 Saying “you can do this, or this, or this” is SUPER hard to follow for new players because I don’t know what button does that punch you did that is only marginally visually different from another punch. You’ve gotta clearly say EVERYTHING, and leave frames and inputs on for sure. Even with inputs on here at the start I was having to pause the video to try and catch inputs moving past to see what was happening
@@MC_HANDROLLED great comment. It makes sense and is kinda what I figured, but you going into detail really does help contextualize it. I have been getting frustrated with these video in a way that just didn’t happen when sf6 or even gg strive came out, but it makes sense so I’ll try to be more patient lol
I highly recommend this playlist for learning basics-intermediate and anything that is not specific to 8. It's worth possibly slightly confusing yourself to learn these things that are mostly universal to Tekken. There are things that are tag 2 specific, but there are so many basic forms of legacy information mechanically that still apply. Check it out if you have time. Anything that has to do with specific frame data, bounds, tag etc just ignore. ua-cam.com/play/PLVYulCamEPqLIJXEn-RZ9oDeKMfPBammY.html&feature=shared
Beginner guide sure. Wave dash. Forward 4. Magic 4. Then you got dooche bags putting out beginner guides with sayings like whifs and Korean back dashes without explaining. Even if I knew what was said. It still not BEGINNER friendly.
Everyone says jin is broken bcs 1button electric... but this is fake news u cant use it no one gets caught by it... if somenone is going to zen against me he got hop kick in mirror match.. he is not broken literaly u must know punishments.. u cant do a hop kick every time they punish u... jin is my main and i reach dominator in 3 hour session with punishments and perfect electric side steps and good foundamentals.... but i stoped ranking up bcs i do not know matchups so i now learning every characters basics and how to punish them for high damage while standing 2 is my big friend with electric follow up 😂 befere someone says jin is broken.. try him play.. yeah he is.. but u need high skills and fundamentals.. sorry for long comment🫶🏻
Hello thank you, most noobs play Jin. I find that his easy bomb low is D2(down + 2 = Scourge). Also good strings are 1,3,4(this frames traps) and when he ducks 2,1,4 or vanilla B2,1.
6:20 If you're having a hard time getting this combo, it's because you need to be rising (coming up from a crouch to standing position). It will turn the 1 from a High to a Mid. Best was to practice this is to hold down, let go of down and then go into the combo
Turning off inputs is not helpful FYI
Oof yeah. This is my first tekken so I’m looking into guides, what’s up with tekken videos not having inputs? Is it a new feature for 8 or something?

Why would you take down the notation on the side??
Yes please put the notation on
13 minutes of me asking, "Is he saying forward or four?"
not begginer friendly guide at all,

Always wanted to use him, but he was really hard. Now it has many beginner friendly stuff and loving him. But now I am torn between him and Lars...
Jin is a better all rounder character
@@KingJaeTV thank you!
Not a beginners guide lol literally talking about wavedashing in the first minute
Yep, just got the game and I've been learning and researching for a week but I'm still not ready for the terminology in this video lol

It is, u get mad counter
His best low

Thanks for dropping my boy Jin guide ❤
Any time!
Do Hwoarang bruvv, if you get this comment ❤
Coming soon!
Any plus on block tools other than electric I should be using? WR 3 seems a bit slow, any faster options?
Ff3 i think
Ff3 is -4. Very good but linear Df33 is good, also try to set up some zen 4
@@turkicsayajin2274ff3 is -4. It's only made +1 if you do ff3-1
Do zen4 if you can or on oki (it can be up to +8 lmfao)
Df3~3 and ws1 -> 3~3 are the only + on block mids he has from my knowledge
Funny. I remember there being a lot of negative comments on this guide. I guess you deleted them all instead of listening to feedback. Nice one bro!
it shows what a great content creator he is and shows how much he cares for his fans!!!😂
