Hey 😊, It does get confusing sometimes but yes both left and right side are going out; away from my face. The way I remind myself to make sure I’m going in the right direction is always face the clip part of the curling iron towards my face and the barrel itself should face going out always when starting the curl! Hope that made sense lol. 💕
