It's funny how we have crafts and hobbies for enjoyment, and our lil brains try to make it unenjoyable with deadlines, perfectionism, pressure and guilt. You made something amazing with your own two hands and it is beautiful ❤
I didn’t finish my sweater for the BHM craftavism MAL either. I have to frog my bottom ribbing. I joined a new ball of yarn and it is a different shade. Ugh! So is the neckline. I’ll fix it later this summer and make it for the yearlong sweater MAL. It is what it is. 😊 #knittinglife 🧶
I feel like I'm in the exact same boat this year! knitting and knitting and knitting on projects and struggling to get anything fully finished. which can be frustrating, especially when your brain has decided like oh ok we'll be done this by day X and then I can start the next thing in my queue and have that done for day Y and yada yada. but I try to tell myself that sure I'll spend months making something and it feels like something is taking forever but once it IS made I will literally have it until I die. morbid but relieves a bit of the stress lol
Our silly little brains are always getting in our way. I’m certainly learning to let things be as long as I’m doing my best 😊 im probably staying away from major deadlines this year going forward, the pressure is more intense when sharing online 😅
I love the vest! I actually hate working seed stitch but I love the look. Props for doing an entire garment of seed stitch! Side note, I saw some hair product in the background and your hair always looks so nice. Any products you would recommend for those of us with similar curls?
Thank you! I certainly underestimated how much longer seed stitch takes but it was worth it 🙂 thank for the hair compliment. I use 3. Cantu leave-in conditioning cream all over, then I section and hand comb through Camille Rose “curl love” moisture milk, and then I use a little bit of the Camille Rose curl maker jelly at the crown for frizz and also for styling the next few days :) I love the Mielle Rosemary scalp oil too!
