The Caps are wasting the wildcard place, should’ve been the Red Wings or the Pens.
Pens are in the same boat, a team carried by a hall of famer that doesn't belong in the conversation of Stanley Cup playoffs.
I've been saying it since before the playoffs, Detroit would've actually put up an effort
@@lelouchvibritannia4028 The pens at least had the ability to score and keep games close. They 100% would've won some games at least as kept it interesting. The wings are young and fast and would've brought some excitement to the mix.
yeah maybe if the wings didnt lose like 8 in a row a month prior or the pens didn't suck for half the season they would've. All these ifs and buts but the caps were the most consistent team out of those 3. If the pens and red wings were truly better they would be here instead. And its not like the islanders who had 16 OT losses. Cant use that as an excuse. Caps were just the better regular season team or I should say more consistent. You wanna make the playoffs?? Gotta win more games than 16-17 other teams. Mind blowing I know

then they should have won more games and not lose like 8 in a row 1 month before the playoffs. Maybe then they wouldn't of just made the playoffs but they also would have finished ahead of tampa. You can use all the ifs and buts you want but if the caps of all teams win more games than you then maybe you don't deserve to be in the playoffs as much as the caps do. Win more games than 16-17 teams and you make the playoffs. The wings didn't do that

The only positive I feel about this series is that it will be over soon, Ovi can go rest up and come back to get himself a record. Personally, I want him to get it next season and come back one last season to just have as much fun as possible.
