Ordered in lazada and from china. Cost me 200usd. I plugged it in and man... wow!!! Sounds almost the same as the ew300 my boss was using. For a fraction of the price of high end iem's. No dead signal..and the sound quality is superb!!! Get one and you wont regret it.
I have some issues to ask sir scott.. everytime i plug it in , the unit is already on.. and eveytime i dial on the botton of my reciever there's a sound coming out..is it normal? But the sound is really good. Thats the only issue i have w this unit. So far been using it for a month now and it bring smile to my face.. almost the same sound as the ew300. U just need to have a good iem..
Loved it! I purchased the Anleon S2 yesterday based on your video and I'm excited about it, I will hopefuly get it next week. S3 looks amazing but It's out of my budget. However, I found a video of a guy building a couple simple cable adapters to get 2 mono signals with one S2 transmitter and It is as simple as just connecting both signals lines to Left or Right. That can save a lot of money as well! Thx for your reviews!
Oh interesting…. I would be very curious how that works? I don’t know how that’s possible without being able to pan on the receiver, but that’s very interesting
Just played a gig last weekend in stereo from an Allen and heath 32 channel mixer. Has the typical top end hiss and compression associated with this type of wireless, but I didn’t have any dropouts or interference (I was the only one using wireless). I used the maximum amount of pad on the transmitter input so I could leave the buss output at zero db. It worked perfectly. Drummer was crazy loud. I was the only one on stage with usable monitors.
Found this video after watching the last one. Thank you for giving content that is actually useful, especially for those who can't drop $1000+ out of the gate. These off top brand companies seem to be putting out great products and making them affordable enough to test the waters before thinking about or needing to upgrade to a more expensive setup. Will there be a giveaway for this system lol? Either way thanks!
Another great and informative video. After watching this; even though the s2 was usable in my situation, it sure sounds like the s3 is the better option. Thanks Scott!
I know it's not as affordable as some of these other units but I'd love to see you review the audio technica 3000 iem system the features on that system are pretty crazy
@@ScottUhlMusic the 3000 series system covers the whole legal frequency bandwidth between 450-608 at like 130 mhz has a built in network so you can use it with frequency management software like the higher end Senheiser G3/g4 and Shure PSM 900/1000 systems it has some other cool stuff but that was the biggest head turner for me
Great review! Beware that you can only use the 500MHz bands reliably, as the 600 band belongs to T-Mobile for their 5G network and 700 belongs to Verizon for their 4G phones. Your experience may vary.
Thanks for the super helpful and informative video! I’ve been on the Phenyx Pro bandwagon last several years, but am running into “popping” issues. How would you rank the Anleons even against the PP’s? Also, I’m assuming an antenna combiner is not feasible with these units?
Having received mine now and giving it a trial at home , i will say i am impressed with the unit. It feels more sturdy than the LD mei1000 system i already have. Not sure i will use the loop back connections. Shame no rack mounts provided. Not so sure about the rubberised buttons on the main unit as the power button has already got stuck down a few times, it released though with a further push.
Thanks for the update 👍 and I do wish it has rack options included as well and do agree with what you said… however, with these being as affordable as they are, I think it’s still very well priced for the quality that you get. Cheap gear is often never “perfect” and the cheap price has to come from somewhere. Thanks again for the comments!
@@ScottUhlMusic fully understand regarding the cheap price, making the rack mount and sorting a front mounted antenna took no more than an hour in the workshop to sort out.
Great stuff. Have you heard anything about Thomanns' t.bone wireless iems or anything from LD Systems. They are also pretty affordable and hard to find anything on them. Especially the t.bone iem100 or iem75.
I haven’t heard of those. There are quite a few of these cheaper ones around this price point I’m realizing. Which is great! Lots of options for people to get into IEMs
Thanks for another helpful video. I have a similar Sennheiser system and used it for a long time the way you described with two receivers panned L and R. But that system doesn't work so well anymore, and I understand it's no longer legal to be on the frequencies it uses (yes, it's old). I would consider using this system the same way, but I don't see that a second S3 receiver is readily available.
Yeah the frequency thing is annoying for sure. This is a good replacement for sure! Although the sennheiser has more features and more frequencies if it’s the ew 300. Of course, it’s also 3x the price 👍
this one seems to be worth the extra scratch over the Phenyx Pro PTM-10, I like the thru-outs on the back and the available freq range/bandwidth on the Anleon
The PTM has been battle tested because it’s the main system my band mates use (I use the sennheiser). So I say they are both equally amazing. If you do need the through though, that’s a plus for this system 👍 but really, both of them are incredible for the price
Awesome system. Too bad I’m all set with the Phenyx Pro systems. Got a great deal from them on 3 systems with the two receivers. I should of waited for your review. Lol! Just finish building my IEM rack with Behringer Air XR18. I’ll send you a photo later. Thanks for all your info. If I need an extra one I’ll take a look at these.
Hi Scott thx for this video, talking about the sound quality specifically, do you really feel the difference between stereo and mono transmitter? I mean s2 or s3? From the sound perspective
From your other videos, I think you use the XR18. Have you encountered conflicts with using your wireless in ear monitors. I am nervous about using wireless in ears for that reason.
Interference can come from many places. It’s just a new piece of equipment you need to learn. The more money you spend, the more channels/frequencies you get on your in ear monitor system. The more frequencies you have, the more likely you will not have dropouts. 👍
Recently bought PoenixrPo PTM-10 in 900mhz - it's reliable and sounds good but not quite as hifi as my old Shure PSM300 that i had to sell because of digital tv stations in my area. Does anyone have opinion on Anleon S3 vs. PTM-10 for my band using 4 stereo mixes. Yes we will also but antenna combiner. Thanks for great videos Scott
Hi Scott… Thanks for the review. On the S3 how many receivers is it safe to hook up to the transmitter? We have five in our band and we're going to need to get four more receivers to go with the one already bought with the transmitter. So explain this to me please. Also… Do they have rack mountable systems?
That should be fine 👍 and I don’t know if they have a rack mount for it. But they make rack shelves if you need to Velcro it in in case it doesn’t rack. I’ve done that before
I play backing tracks with my iPad. One iPad and my voice is the set up. When I connect my in ear system in aux I hear mono signal. So my backing tracks are mono in my in ears. So.. what I have to do ? To buy a stereo IEM ? Because I want to listen stereo my backing tracks.
You are sending a mono backing track from the iPad. It won’t turn to stereo if it’s mono. For stereo you’ll need a computer or an interface with two outputs in order to output stereo. Every stereo input needs two outputs and two inputs in most situations.

@@ScottUhlMusic Scott, I have a question which is unrelated to this video but I'm putting together an IEM rig for my band. How could I get a click track to my IEM's using a phone metronome app? I'm using a Behringer xAir 18. Thanks for the videos.
Hey Scott, would you recommend the Anleon S3 or the NUX B-7PSM? I like the simplicity of the NUX but I’m concerned that a few years down the road the rechargeable batteries might last. Thoughts? (BTW - thanks for Al the great videos!)
Would you mind posting the frequency of each channel available? I tried to figure out the bandwidth of each channel while watching you flip through some, but they seem to be different sizes. I have a few TV stations around that will likely ruin a lot of the 518-554 spectrum, but there are a few gaps I might be able to use.
@@ScottUhlMusic They only list ranges unfortunately. It's alright. Using the Shure site I can make a small estimate of at least a few open channels. Thanks!
In Europe, the dedicated signal band for IEM is 863-865 Mhz. How would you use multiple transmitters within this band width to avoid interference? You are not permitted, by law, to use anything for IEM past this given band width. In this case how would you make sure to use multiple devices without interference? If you look at it this way, is there still an advantage for the S3 over the S2?
Thanks you for the review. Awesome! Can my band use only one transmitter or we should have one for each? Thank you. Edit: So we are 5, we'll need 3 transmitters right?
It depends if you want to share a mix or not. If you do not want to share a mix and want to use the 1 transmitter 2 receiver trick, then yeah you’ll need 3 transmitters and 5 receivers. But you can also hard wire your drummer and save a lot of money that way and just get 4 and 2 👍
This is really a good video. Forgive my ignorance but how do I use this to play guitar? I'm not sure I understood how I musically use this wireless transmitter/receiver? Perhaps if you demonstrated it would help. If you can answer in a sentence or two, I'll much appreciate it. Thanks for the video again!
Does the S3 have rack mounting options? I have only seen it as a stand alone. If it is rack mountable, especially if you can attach 2 transmitters together, I will likely replace my Galaxy not true Stereo IEMs.
The question I’ve been asked most so far 😊 Both would be my recommendations for an entry level wireless system. PP I’ve used much more since my band mates use them. Maybe I’ll have to do a detailed comparison someday. But both really are good
@@ScottUhlMusic I think they are pretty similar but PP you've known better because you've been using for quite some time...pretty curious about the comparison though...looking at their website they are relatively new and they are specialized in IEMs only (meaning no other wireless mics of anything else)...let's see...thanks!
Great video! I bought an S3 a few weeks ago from ebay. I get about 300’ range but I can only get a maximum -16db instead of -24db attenuation. Also, I’m getting intermittent RF static even when the range is close. I got a great deal ($300CAN all in) but I’m afraid I got an older version of the S3. Do you get AF static when there’s no signal or low signal?
Yeah that’s the way wireless works in general. Normally their is a squelch setting on the higher end ones to combat that, which is really nice! That’s not included on this one
@@ScottUhlMusic Thanks, this is my first wireless and I don’t have anything to compare it to. BTW, mine came with earbuds. They’re barely usable but good for a spare. Mine DOES have -24db, I just didn’t hit the button enough times. I’ll keep a close eye on my levels to keep the signal clean. Thanks to you, I won’t be tripping over my wires. If I can get my stone age band mates on ears, I’ll be sure to have them use your link.
Cool product. May I make a suggestion Scott and get you a little paintbrush and brush off your products before you start filming them. I actually keep one on my pedal board and one next to my PA board as well
Hi Scott, thanks for the video. I’m curious. Would you recommend a system like this over something like the xvive u4? The Anleon S3 and xvive u4 are about the same price where I’m at.
U4 is more portable but on 2.4Ghz which is less reliable. If you want portability the xvive is great. If you don’t mind plugging into power, I like the s3. It’s up to you though. That xvive is a really solid unit to be honest. Both are good for the price point
@@ScottUhlMusic fantastic. Thank you for the quick reply! One more quick question if you don’t mind - is there a huge difference in audio quality between the two units?
Either of them are great. I honestly think both are great options. If you are on a tight budget, and are okay with doing the 2 receivers 1 transmitter setup, I would get one PP and one S3 for your band with 4 transmitters 👍
Great work. I've been tempted to try the S2, but this has me curious about the S3. I suppose weighing the price is a huge consideration. On the one hand, compared to a Sennheiser XSW, then you're saving $300, but if you're considering the "upgrade" from or instead of the S2, that is a x3 price increase. 🤔🤔
Yup it depends on your needs. S3 is definitely more for iems for live. If you are fine taking the risk of using iems and not having a clear channel then the S2 is fine. It will work more times than not imo. But if it’s more crucial to have working iems, I recommend the s3
I used S2 for a while and it has some drawbacks, like some frequencies are cut (I used it when played bass, so those cut lower frequencies were not that good), it has no limiter (which can make your mix not as good as you might've had, cause if you have some hot signal, you'll have to adjust other instruments and make it louder on output, which will additionally affect your power supply), antenna is not that great (may cause signal drop occasionally), and it has no loop (which needed several times, but it wasn't there). It's been a while since I used it last time, so there may be something else but can't remember. Overall for its price it's worth trying, at least I could rehearse and do gigs with a band, when I had no opportunity to get something better. So, you have no other options or if you can afford getting S2 and then change it to S3 if you're not satisfied with it, S2 is quite doable. But if you can afford S3 without pressure to your wallet and don't want to waste time with comparisons, S3 should be a good choice. If I have a chance in future to do gigs, I'll definitely gonna go for S3.
thanks but S3 is just S2 with more channels, same shitty quality, microphonic effect in receiver and transmitter antenna, white noise level rises if you have ANY quiet signal and horrible expander effect. if you don't have a low shelf EQ at your aux out at 90 HZ, your kick will make EVERYTHING louder
I’ve gigged multiple times with the S3, and so have many of my band mates…. We don’t have that experience with it. Either you got a bad unit or you are very picky about your tone (nothing wrong with that). If you are picky about tone, why are you shopping in the budget isle? 🤷
I wanted to watch this video but was too distracted by the fact that the audio sounds like it's being fast forwarded and then fed through the lowest quality MP3 encoder
I do edit the video so it’s faster because I absolutely cannot stand the slow talking UA-cam videos. It’s a preference thing. I prefer this way 👍 But the audio quality is fine on my end and no one else has pointed that out, so it’s likely on your end.
Very cool system for 300 bucks! Wow. The videos are looking so clean lately too. The editing is on point. Great job! Did a gig a few days ago and had something happen that has never happened before with my sennheiser g3. Scanned the environment several times and had 0 "free" frequencies. I couldn't find a good channel and the interference was unbearable. Weird. That only ever happens in my bedroom. Every venue i play usually gets 10+ free frequencies. Cheers!
Thanks! And yeah that happens for me sometimes too, I will adjust the squelch level higher until I find some channels. Other times, it’s just kind of guessing until I find the one with the least amount of RF. There is one place we play sort of near the airport that I usually have trouble finding a signal
Galaxy Audio AS-950 is similar, true stereo, and supported by most commercial audio houses. Similar price, features. Built like commercial audio gear. I've used it alongside the Shure and Sennheiser systems with similar range and sound, and no cross interference. Love your reviews, they give great real world experience to calm down the manufacturer's hype.
I’ll have to check that out! I had a galaxy audio one a long time ago but I think it was in a bad frequency range because I had trouble with it. It was one of my first ones
Yay! I've been waiting for this video! Thanks Scoot, it looks like it suits my needs. Can I ask what's the biggest venue you have tried to use this? 😁 We're gonna have a big show in January and the floor area will be around 700-1000sqm for the venue. Do you think the S3 will still perform well in that setting? And also, did you have any sort of interference if the crowd is between the stage (receiver) and the transmitter? Thanks so much for your helpful reviews!! Stay awesome 🌞
Yup I bet this would work great with that! Probably for a few hundred people, so it worked well. Wireless mostly depends on how much wireless signal is already there. And range can be effected if there is no line of sight from the antenna to the receiver, but that’s true for basically any wireless 👍
I have the Audio Tecnica Headphone/Microphone combo unit. (BPHS1) I'd like to send Stereo from the mixers headphones jack to that TRS plug on the unit but can't find a wireless system for that. Any suggestions? (I already have a wireless system for the mic. If I can send audio to that TRS I can use the BPHS1 for my in 'ear' and be free to walk the stage and audience while being miced up as well)
You want to send a wireless signal in stereo? Like one wireless to send a stereo signal? Only thing I know that does that is this guy here: ua-cam.com/video/8fBqGWfPwlU/v-deo.html I love it, but a lot of people have had problems with it.
Don't know if you have access to a PSM 300, or G2-G4 but I'd like to hear the sound quality demo of these by recording the output. That's the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger
I have a video about setting up a talkback mic here: 5 WAYS To Setup A TALKBACK MIC For LIVE BANDS - Complete Guide ua-cam.com/video/lbilw_491NA/v-deo.html
Again, a great review, thanks Scott! In my opinion, a massive "plus" is, that the phones-out jack is properly mounted with a nut at the housing. Shure and Sennheiser do the same, but many of the chaep systems, and, as far as I know, unfortunately audio-technica also, use a jack-out, that is NOT mounted with a nut, but instead is only soldered directly to the pcb with the socket poking through a hole in the housing. This design is cheap, but it is a nightmare, regarding reliability. It often only needs one proper pull at the cable, and the soldered connection on the pcb breaks off or the soldering pads get completely ripped off of the pcb... This became even more of a problem, after lead-free solder became standard, as this solder is more brittle than lead-solder... In my workshop, within ALL units of modern electronic, broken off connectors, pots, switches etc. that were soldered directly onto the pcb are BY FAR the most common reason for failure. It would be very interesting to have a look inside some of those transmitters, to see the design. E.g. if the jack-sockets are mounted on a small extra pcb and then are wired with small cables, a design without a nut could be fine, otherwise, imho it is really very bad design. I would particularly be interested in the internal design of the ATW3255 transmitter, as I am really interested in buying this system for my own use, but it's the design of the output jack, that I have doubts about...
Hey Scott, thanks for the review. Because your channel giving insight into a few wireless systems, especially the inexpensive ones sure clears the decision-making aspect. I have purchased a few products you have featured in past reviews for instruments (NUX C-5RC, Phenyx PTG-11, and Sennheiser Pro G4). My band uses older Sennheiser G3 for IEM and they work well, but having access to a channel like yours is definitely a working musician's asset. Thank you very much!
Scott I purchased this about a year on your recommendation and it works great! Do you have an affiliate link to purchase an extra receiver? Thanks for all the great videos!
Thanks! And if you use any of my Amazon links to get to Amazon and then buy anything else, I actually do get credit :) I appreciate that! Glad it’s been working well for you
Thank you so much for explaining the questions i had abt the S2 just still confused on where do i input the connections setup to hear myself and the music when i do solo gigs thanks for your explaining your thoughts in the S2
Would you recommend this system for professional vocalists? I just got my first pair of custom in ear from ultimate ears, and I am a bit lost on which transmitter/receiver to get. I want quality, but also don't want to break the bank. Thanks for your help!
“I want quality but don’t want to break the bank”… that’s a phrase I’ve found is truly meant by some and not by others. I have my buying guide here and hopefully that helps you out: ua-cam.com/video/Xi2JcMomjQ0/v-deo.htmlsi=D5WIXMZMLfnhi_aV Thanks for watching 👍
Nice, clear review as always, Scott. I appreciate you. Does this system do that cool thing where if you plug two lines into the back and set the transmitter to stereo, but then set the receiver to mono, you can pan between the two to sort of control your mix on stage? Like have a full mix in one, and your guitar or vocal in the other and blend the two? Thanks.
I’m buying my first wireless IEM set soon. Would you do this or do you think the extra money is worth it for something like the AT 3200 or Sennheiser G4 system?
Hello Scott, thanks for your video, but I have to say do not buy S3, the stereo image sounds like crap, compared with Shure psm 300. There its not 0 dollar way, you get what you pay for simple as that when it comes so sender and receivers. I bought this S3 from your video and I was the first second disappointed.
Thanks for sharing your experience and for commenting. I will say: These are a budget IEM system. I know that can be frustrating, but it’s budget for a reason. I was really happy with these, but things are budget for a reason: ua-cam.com/video/kUNBHi5F3aQ/v-deo.htmlsi=vHXPsgPkolrX9N3Y
@@astromberg5059 if you are looking for pro gear… correct, don’t buy anything budget 👍 if you are on a budget, and you are more of a hobby band, and can manage your expectations properly, then budget gear is great!

Wow, that’s a pretty good price for a dual system! It’s not true stereo so no panning, but I’ll have to look into those. There are a ton of budget ones out there now.
Thanks for this, my band is picking this up. Any clue how we could rack mount it? Seems to have similar mounting points as the sennheiser G4. Hoping it can just share the space with that
Haha man I’m getting a lot of this question! I might have to do a video on it. I think they are both fantastic. I would recommend either one for entry level wireless IEM systems
Hey Scott, I bought the anleon s3 but i got allot of white noice on the receiver. The phones out on the transmitter is Clean as can be. Do you have the same white noice or could i have a faulty receiver?
When the volume on the receiver is in the mid setting its the cleanest. Low volume is higher volume low level noice increase en high volume is hight level noice increase
I tryed them with standaard headphones instead of my cca-c12s and its clear sound trough the receiver. It looks like the cca or the wire of the cca is the cause
There can be many reasons for getting white noise. It’s likely some sort of interference near by. I hope you tried changing channels to see if that cleared it up. If all channels give the same results, it could be the area you are in. Try changing to a different area and see if it still happens (and change channels… always change channels if you need to). And if it still is doing that, it’s likely defective.
@@ScottUhlMusic hey Scott, I checked multiple channels with and with transiever on and off. It looks like faulty wiring of my cca-c12 or the in ears itself. The anleon s3 looks to be working fine. When trying the receiver with regular headphones there was no noice. Im going to try different wiring and otherwise order new in ear monitors
Hi! You recommended S3 over S2 for full band situations. I'm considering going for wireless iem, and I'm the only guy in the band to do so: others are just using wedge monitor speakers. Would I still need the pricier S3?

Super useful! I did play a gig with this system and it worked extremely well. Now i'm thinking about buying one for myself. Question is: the bodypack is a little bit pricey, is it possible to use any other bodypacks, not anleon s3 branded? Does anyone know? :)
Hey, thanks for the review! So S2 does not support stereo? I've been looking for a true stereo IEM system "on a a budget" ...and the S2 goes for €180 ..but is it also true stereo?
Hey Scott! Great video! I was wondering how it compared to the Phenyx Pro PTM-10 as they are similar in price. I would like to hear your thought on this! Thanks
Does this system have artifacts in with the guitar when you use them or are they as clear as Shure and Sennheiser IEM systems. Beware that you can only use the 500MHz bands reliably, as the 600 band belongs to T-Mobile for their 5G network and 700 belongs to Verizon for their 4G phones. Your experience may vary.
Yup that’s true, those ones are for other countries, not the USA! Currently the USA can use 470-608Mhz
Absolutely great! 🎉

Thanks for the super helpful and informative video! I’ve been on the Phenyx Pro bandwagon last several years, but am running into “popping” issues. How would you rank the Anleons even against the PP’s? Also, I’m assuming an antenna combiner is not feasible with these units?
After using the PP for years, I actually prefer those over these as far as the “popping” which can happen if you get interference
Yup I agree. Although even my high end sennheiser system didn’t come with everything for a rack setup… which definitely was annoying to me haha
@@ScottUhlMusic interesting, maybe I'll buy the Phenyx and make one of my bandmates buy the more expensive Anleon haha
Definitely seems worth every penny
It definitely is!
The PP ones are fantastic!! You made a great choice, and those are a tiny bit cheaper actually. Those are the two I recommend for entry level iems
Hi Scott! Great job on your content! Does the S3 feature a limiter? Have you experienced any annoying audio signal spikes when using it?
I believe it has a limiter… the only issue I’ve had with it is if it does get interference it’s definitely a loud quick hiss sound
@@ScottUhlMusicHave you had such loud sound spikes with the Phenyx set as well?
No, but that can happen with cheaper wireless
Hi Scott thx for this video, talking about the sound quality specifically, do you really feel the difference between stereo and mono transmitter? I mean s2 or s3? From the sound perspective
S3 definitely sounds better than the S2. Stereo or not, it’s definitely a big improvement
Thanks!!!
👏👏👏
I can’t even find the S3 system available anywhere
It might be sold out temporarily
These are the best❤
They are great! 🤘
Thanks! I like the PTM because it’s been battle tested a lot for me, but this one has been good too for the price.
I’ve done that before
how does the volume output from the receiver compare to the shure psm/ sennheiser systems?
I didn’t notice a difference in the volume output

You can go directly into the x18 or use a direct box to convert it to xlr balanced signal 👍
Hey Scott, would you recommend the Anleon S3 or the NUX B-7PSM? I like the simplicity of the NUX but I’m concerned that a few years down the road the rechargeable batteries might last. Thoughts? (BTW - thanks for Al the great videos!)
I see more positive comments on the Anleon one personally
Would you mind posting the frequency of each channel available? I tried to figure out the bandwidth of each channel while watching you flip through some, but they seem to be different sizes.
I have a few TV stations around that will likely ruin a lot of the 518-554 spectrum, but there are a few gaps I might be able to use.
You should be able to find that online for which ones they have for certain countries 👍
You only have 2Mhz of range to use? That can’t be right. Where did you see that and for what country?
Hi, Scott!
Do you still think that the cheapest/greatest IEM wireless system is the Phenyx PTM-10 Pro or have you found another one?
I like the PTM 10 and this one by Anleon. PTM have been battle tested with my band mates, that’s the main reason I like it better.
But you can also hard wire your drummer and save a lot of money that way and just get 4 and 2 👍
@@ScottUhlMusic Thank you for the fast response. Rock on!
Hi, this is not a system for guitar. It’s for in ear monitors. Here’s my beginners guide to iems: ua-cam.com/video/Kp0tQCfxzWg/v-deo.html
@@ScottUhlMusic Thanks so much Scott! I'll check out that other video too.
Does the S3 have rack mounting options? I have only seen it as a stand alone. If it is rack mountable, especially if you can attach 2 transmitters together, I will likely replace my Galaxy not true Stereo IEMs.
Even if you cannot rack Mount them, the Shure makes a 1U rack shelf and you can Velcro it down 👍 That’s how I did it for a while
Great video! now the question...anleon or phenyx pro?
Which frequency did you get?
Hi Scott, just came across you channel. Hoping you could review the NUX B-7PSM 5.8 GHz Wireless in-Ear Monitoring System.

Nope, they sound great 👍

Ambience in ear monitors? Like the earbuds that let in a little ambience? Yes, I have the westone EAS 30s and love them
Can anyone vouch for the receivers being compatible with the sennheiser g4 transmitters?
I haven’t heard that
@@ScottUhlMusicYou mention it briefly at 09:51, it’s still on their website as well so just wondering if anyone has had experience with it.
This one vs the Phenyx Pro? Any comments?
Either of them are great. I honestly think both are great options. If you are on a tight budget, and are okay with doing the 2 receivers 1 transmitter setup, I would get one PP and one S3 for your band with 4 transmitters 👍
Sennheiser XSW IEM ???
If you are asking if it’s a good system, then yes those are great systems too 👍
@@ScottUhlMusic what do you think about saving $100 and ordering from eBay and having it ship from china?
Agreed with this comment 👍 if you order from overseas make sure the frequency is allowed in your area/country 👍
@@RandallFlores86 i have just done that, should be with me ( UK) by the weekend. Saved about £130
Rack mountable?
I honestly don’t know, but if you cannot, you can always get a 1U shelf and Velcro it. I’ve done that before
thanks but S3 is just S2 with more channels, same shitty quality, microphonic effect in receiver and transmitter antenna, white noise level rises if you have ANY quiet signal and horrible expander effect. if you don't have a low shelf EQ at your aux out at 90 HZ, your kick will make EVERYTHING louder
Does the S3 have bleed out like the PhenyxPro PTM 10 when you pan all the way to the right or left?
I haven’t noticed. There is barely any bleed on the PTM10. You shouldn’t notice that live when you use it
Very cool system for 300 bucks!
@@ScottUhlMusic They do make it in 3 or 4 bands, and at least one of them is really bad around here as it's the same as some industrial controls.
Thanks you for these videos. Really helpful
thanks for the videos man.

I love it, but a lot of people have had problems with it.
Don't know if you have access to a PSM 300, or G2-G4 but I'd like to hear the sound quality demo of these by recording the output. That's the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger
To me, they sound basically the same. But the more features and channels is worth it if you can afford it

Hi! You recommended S3 over S2 for full band situations. I'm considering going for wireless iem, and I'm the only guy in the band to do so: others are just using wedge monitor speakers. Would I still need the pricier S3?

First IEM pack I’ve gotten, gotta say, after using it, it’s quality. Really easy to use and works wonderfully in stereo. No drop outs, no issues.
Only concern I have is the subtle white noise it has. Has anybody else experienced that?
“Noise” can come from so many things with iems. Try changing channels and power, and make sure that not an individual channel is sending noise
great content! would these bodypack receivers work at all with the sennheiser/shure transmitters? If so, would sound quality would be good enough? Thanks !
Thank you! And No, you should use the same transmitters and receivers with each other. Not mix and match.
Super useful!
I did play a gig with this system and it worked extremely well. Now i'm thinking about buying one for myself.
Question is: the bodypack is a little bit pricey, is it possible to use any other bodypacks, not anleon s3 branded? Does anyone know? :)
Nice! Glad it’s worked well for you. And you normally should use the same body pack, but it might work with others. I’m not sure
Hey, thanks for the review! So S2 does not support stereo? I've been looking for a true stereo IEM system "on a a budget" ...and the S2 goes for €180 ..but is it also true stereo?
The S2 not “true stereo” because you cannot pan. The S3 is true stereo 👍
Hey Scott! Great video! I was wondering how it compared to the Phenyx Pro PTM-10 as they are similar in price. I would like to hear your thought on this! Thanks
Yeah both are amazing units at this price point. I do not think you will make a bad decision with either one. Both are really good 👍
Does this system have artifacts in with the guitar when you use them or are they as clear as Shure and Sennheiser IEM systems. I have the Galaxy 950 and for the money it's ok but I hear some noise along with the notes of my guitar with this system. I didn't see a review of the Galaxy on your channel.
To me, they sounded just as clear as my sennheiser system 👍
I’ve been watching for quite sometime and enjoyed it especially in educational information. Our church is looking into iem but all the big music stores pushing Sennheiser or Shure. Are they that much better as far as sound quality compared to S3?
I’m not a super tone snob. I plugged these in and they sounded like my sennheiser system 👍
