Deans is for using li-pos you already have (7.4, 11.1 etc). Also, it does not kill batteries, you can leave batteries plugged in, and after a set period, Titan 2 goes into a deep sleep mode. Only drawback is that you need to reconnect battery in order for it to work again/ wake up from deep sleep
If I'm planning on building a custom M4 should I go Polarstar, Wolverine, or this titan? Will be my first HPA btw. Idc about price just want the best performance
I am no expert but everyone has there own opinions on what is the best. I personally went with Wolverine since at the time I bought was more affordable especially for some additional upgrade parts. For example mine has two gas methods. One is a regular hpa tank and line but I can also run co2 cartidged inside the stock if I want to. I beilieve polarstar might have something similar but the cost was usually 2-3 times that of wolverine. Polarstar seems to have been in the market for a longer time so you will probably be able to get more after market parts or help. This gate Titan one seems pretty cool since you can get it as a single package with everything you need. While everything else you will need to get an FCU and electronic trigger unit wich are usually sold seperatly. Another benefit, at least from my understanding, is that the Titan has it all built into one unit so you really do save quite a bit on space. Also the app from Titan just seems cleaner and easier to use. I personally might upgrade my trigger and FCU to this Titan one if its compatible with the wolverine engine
How much are they in us dollars , in Australia we mostly have polarstar units floating around and sometimes wolverine but these would be interesting depending on the price
Interesting review but something you said isn't right and some other is missing: 1)Gorilla Fcu actually drain more of Titan Gate but a normal battery will lasts a lot of gameplay 2)To prevent people from changing settings on Gorilla FCU, Bluetooth go off after 5 minutes and you can activate/deactivate by trigger pulling 8 seconds on semi. 3)With Titan Gate 2 if you use Polarstar F2 or 2 solenoids hpa system you will not be able to use external output for led tracer/electric magazines, it's allowed just on 1 solenoid hpa system so with Gate 2 and F2 you will not be able to play with gell ball
Could you solve the high psi low fps problem? I'm running a 155 inner with it, tested several rubbers, chambers, shimmed the hop chamber out to give more space for the nozzle as it is a bit long, but nothing, same values all across the table... 1j@0.25g@130 psi... Something is wrong, but several magazines, hop setups, shimming, dwell adjustment later i'm in a dead end, waiting for gate to tell something... I will not drop my crbn style upper just to run anything longer than 155mm...
I’m still getting low pressure with both the 128mm being at 270fps and the 155mm just barely touching 300 fps I messed with the settings a bit more to it’s limit to get where it is now, but was told that the hop up and the nozzle need to be adjusted / aligned Shimming the hopup and ensuring alignment was the only thing that was mentioned to me so far Seems like it’s an issue with getting a good seal, but I haven’t tested it out yet
@@iiAnferny yeah, I get 301 on 130 psi... Drop an update if you can and figured it out, I have a begadi neptun chamber, and those are designed with a shimming method in mind so you can fine tune chamber gb distance in seconds... Tested with the stock plates, and went up to a 2mm thick o ring without any result... Will update if i find anything tho:)
@@blackrul3z Dont know if you ever sovled this but from everyone I spoke to, this engine just needs to be run at a high PSI. I get 1.1j at 100psi with a 200mm barrel. The biggest problem with this engine is theres no anti stiction, so first shot FPS drop was absolutely horrendous until they released firmware 64, they seem to have done some work on solving it but I still get it sometimes.
@@matthewspencer2837 read that nozzle length is a problem too... Idk. Built several hpa m4s, not new in this tipic, but never ever had this much problems with any engine... The titan is nice, but...

I've just got this installed in my hpa converted krytac lvoa c, it's magnificent
your voice is only on the left channel music is on both
Your headphones are broken
Thank u for the review AJ!
No change of having the battery in the pistol grip then?
Can you give us your build runthrough? I want to make a esg build but I need help and I’m sure others would too.

Do you know if this unit also works with wolverine airsoft engines?
The wiring is different on wolverines. I have seen some basic mods to them working with the guerilla fcu but does require some soldering skills.
@@renosquadairsoft that a bit disappointing but it is what it is. Thanks for letting me know 😁
Guerilla does have a trigger board replacement and the new mtws have new firmware that give binary and stuff so who knows might come to gen 2 owners 🤷
