I read a scientific paper where they scanned a dog's brain while it was riding in a simulated car. Apparently they like to imagine they are running next to the car. This would be a lot like VR for dogs. I had a rooster that would write on my handlebars and pretend he was flying down the road. He would jump on the bike and crow when he wanted to go for a ride. Which was quite often.

The fact that he strapped his dog to the front of an ATV is enough to cause any concern. If he's driving 1 mph, the weight of the ATV will crush the dog If he's driving 100mph, the weight of the ATV will crush the dog. Crazy how that works, isn't it?

thats one of the best things about dogs, they're basically happy little goofballs who are down for anything 24/7. My dog would be just as happy going shopping, going to work, going to murder someone, or just driving around in circles. So long as they're with their family they're happy.

I think it needs something extra even if he only drives the 4wheeler in his yard never getting out of 2nd gear. Strange things can happen on them. I’m trying to find a better way for my dog to ride on my Ruby or hubbys Foreman easier. Bomont (my dog) has a hard time getting or keeping his balance sitting in my bag seat. He’s a Tripawd missing his Rear Right Leg so balance is always a issue. I definitely don’t want to seatbelt or secure him in anyway on the wheeler, but want some low sides around where he’ll ride He needs to have the ability to jump clear incase of flipping. Hubby doesn’t agree with me he thinks Bomont should be strapped down but he’s barely past being a “Green” rider & has never flipped yet & doesn’t understand what all happens when it does happen. I’m a “pro” I’ve flipped my Rhino in 2008 lost my arm & I’ve flipped my 02 Foreman 450 hitting a rock in the wrong place going through deep water & on small rise on flat ground 🤪

I'm impressed at how comfortable and familiar he is with this rig- did he always seem to understand the point and the benefits or was there a period of adjustment? I'd have expected him to react with some panic to the straps.

You can tell that pup LOVES going places and doing things! A happy dog that's going places and doing things with his family is one of the most beautiful sights in life.
thats one of the best things about dogs, they're basically happy little goofballs who are down for anything 24/7. My dog would be just as happy going shopping, going to work, going to murder someone, or just driving around in circles. So long as they're with their family they're happy.

I think it needs something extra even if he only drives the 4wheeler in his yard never getting out of 2nd gear. Strange things can happen on them.
I’m trying to find a better way for my dog to ride on my Ruby or hubbys Foreman easier. Bomont (my dog) has a hard time getting or keeping his balance sitting in my bag seat. He’s a Tripawd missing his Rear Right Leg so balance is always a issue.
I definitely don’t want to seatbelt or secure him in anyway on the wheeler, but want some low sides around where he’ll ride He needs to have the ability to jump clear incase of flipping.
Hubby doesn’t agree with me he thinks Bomont should be strapped down but he’s barely past being a “Green” rider & has never flipped yet & doesn’t understand what all happens when it does happen. I’m a “pro” I’ve flipped my Rhino in 2008 lost my arm & I’ve flipped my 02 Foreman 450 hitting a rock in the wrong place going through deep water & on small rise on flat ground 🤪

I'm impressed at how comfortable and familiar he is with this rig- did he always seem to understand the point and the benefits or was there a period of adjustment? I'd have expected him to react with some panic to the straps.
I myself currently live in a tiny cabin in the woods. Close enough to civilization to get the occasional 4G connection. Sometimes it's frustrating. But I really enjoy watching your channel. You really show all of the positive things about off-grid or near off grid living
