The men singing background on when love calls is everything! Melissa is beautiful and she sounds amazing. Timeless music ❤
I was there that night, and they did a benefit concert a few days later in the week and both were fantastic. I met the brothers and they are extremely humble. God had another plan for David. The brother from DC can sangggg. Brother in the red hat is still fine too up close too.

I really enjoyed this concert. They did a lot of my favorites, which isn't always a given. I liked the now newer song too, which was probably brand new when they did it here. The overall sound quality could obviously have been better, but that is just something you sometimes get with live performances. The spirit and energy and talent made up for it. As for not having all of the original members, it is what it is. Few groups really stay together in their entirety. I just try to enjoy who is there at the time and not worry about the rest.

atlantic starr is one of my very favorites group and band there music will never forever i have went to see them more times in life time i am gonna say it's alot these songs take me back when love and life was amazing we need more loves songs and good music because it s so sad to see whats gonna in the world we need more love and romances these want to be romance and love and us real men need to love from theses pretty ladies out so keep these music alive.
This group needs a reunion with the originals.
The guy singer I think is his name is Leshun did a great job on Let's Get Closer. Good show.

What kind of band only sings 2 songs n they got tons of hits?
@@johnbrite4707 The concert featured 6 other groups so there were time limits but all the others performed more songs. Great show but it was very disappointing that AS only did 2. Vids of all are on my channel if interested.

The female lead singer is fine as the day is long!
Sharon Bryant can never be replaced but they sound good.
Sharon was my favorite female vocalist they had. The new girl does a good job on Barbara's songs. She sounds good though but Sharon Bryant is a hard act to follow.
How many lead female singers have they had? Which one was the one singin on when love calls? That's when they really put it down shitt
@@johnbrite4707 Sharon Bryant was lead then. She still sounds good too. There’s relatively recent video on UA-cam of her singing. They’ve had too many female vocalists to count (maybe 5-6).
She sounds fine most groups don’t stick together if you see any groups like new edition and boys to men it’s rare to see them stick together
She looks a little like Sade.

Andrew Collins I miss Sharon Bryant and Barbara Weathers, this female singer doesn't come close to being either one of them, she damn sure as hell can't blow like Sharon and she damn sure as hell can't hit that high note like Barbara, and this other male singer they got, he's singing and dancing like he's disabled, so yes, you are right, I guess you could say he damn sure as hell ain't got nothing on David!!!

No Barbara has not been in the group for over 20 years. Melissa has been a member group over 20 years now

How can they be called by the same name if the singers are different? They don't sound like the original group at all.
2/3 of the primary members are still in the group. That would be Jonathan Lewis and Wayne Lewis. The female lead singer has been with the group for 20 years and she replaced 2 other female lead singers. The new male lead singer has been with the group as well for over 20 years since David Lewis left the group to become an evangelist. On this night he joined his brothers for the 1st time in all a very long time on stage. The brothers on the name of the group and whatever they do with it and whoever they choose to include is their choice. I think they still sound incredible.
