The new Niji Keyaki is my new favorite bronzer brush, but I also got the Face Pro and used it today love it too! I will try my F-O4 for bronzer, usually use it for blush. Great video! Thanks!
Thanks! I kind of wish I waited until the Niji Keyaki came out instead of picking up the Niji Pro. It’s a beautiful brush, but it sounds like the new Niji is a bit smaller, which is my preference :)
@@areteanbeauty I have them both and prefer the Niji Keyaki because it is less stiff, and much softer than the Niji Pro. I imagine that the hairs must be similar to the Jumbo Bronzer (which I do not own). I prefer smaller brushes because I have a small face and I have heard the best option from Sonia G for us might be the larger brush in the Hinoki set. Do you own it? I heard that it is very soft and the perfect size for bronzer. Although I used the Face Pro again this evening and it does seem to be a perfect bronzer brush for me! 😍
Nice! That sounds more like my preferences as well. I do have the Hinoki brushes, but I’m not a fan of using the big one for bronzer. The small one is actually quite nice for targeted contour, but the large one picks up product a bit too easily so I find it leaves a muddy finish.
I agree! I’m fair and I have the Hinoki brush and I find it does pick up quite a lot of product and maybe a bit dense for my preference. I just bought the keyaki Niji because I love that shape but love the hair from the jumbo bronzer (I’m shocked how much I love just using the bottom edge of that brush to apply bronzer) but I do still love my OG Niji for say the CT Nudegasm palette that is pretty hard to pick up. I need to pull the F04 back out and my F03 I did like those but I think the Hakuhodo G5542 is my favorite angled brush for bronzer. LOVE that one. I also like the G512 for a denser smaller brush and contour application:) I never picked up the face pro because I have the Hakuhodo J531 and I hear they are similar. Beautiful brush but again maybe picks up a bit too much for soft bronzers and my taste:)
It’s a pretty matte finish. When I first tried it, I wasn’t a huge fan, but it’s actually grown on me a lot! I like it on days when I want a more subtle, buildable sculpting contour that’s cool but not too grey.
I feel the same about BK Beauty skepticism, so I’m looking forward to your thoughts on them. I’ve liked some synthetic brushes from Beautylish, like from the Units brand, but haven’t explored very much yet. I’ve been using the larger white haired Sonia G Hinoki brush for bronzer, but I don’t like seeing the staining on the bristles, so I’m gonna switch to something else. Thanks to your overview, I have some ideas! 💞
P.s. The Unit 207 brush is similar in shape to the SG Face Pro with that fluffy slant. As I look at other brushes that I use for bronzer, I see they’re much smaller. I definitely do more tight contouring in winter. 🤓
Nice! I’ll have to try Units sometime. I never like liquid/cream products previously, but they’ve been growing on me lately, so I’ve been more interested in synthetic brushes than I was before. Does your large Hinoki brush shed a lot? For some reason mine sheds a ton, so I haven’t been able to use it as much as I thought I would. :/
@@areteanbeauty Yes! Ever since you mentioned the Hinoki shedding, I’ve been paying closer attention to that. I get 1-2 hairs falling out every time I use it. It doesn’t bother me as much when I use powder foundation because they don’t stick to my face, but it is disappointing. Yeah, the Units brushes are very very soft, and tend to be bendy (at least the few I have). They have a distinctive look. The handles are weighty but quite thick and rounded at the bottom (at least, the white set I have), so I think of them as my Bauhaus brushes. 😆
Thanks for sharing! Haha, indeed, they do have a Bauhaus vibe! Glad to hear that your brush only sheds a couple hairs each time - mine might be defective since I get a bunch of shedding with each use.
Thanks for watching this video! :) Do you have a favorite brush for bronzer?
Zoeva 127 Luxe Blush and Contour brush is my favotite bronzer brush
Nice! I only have one Zoeva brush (110), but I like it a lot!
My favourite powder bronzer brush is Sonia G Face Pro, but I also like Designer Pro, Lotus Detail and Inochige Pro.
Thanks for sharing - we have very similar tastes! The Inochige Pro is on my wishlist, and I love those other brushes!
I’d love to see your Chikuhodo and BK beauty hauls!
Thanks so much! I’ve filmed them (but still need to edit and upload), so they should be coming out sometime next month! :)
Loved your look in this video, so beautiful ❤️
Thanks so much! :)

Nice, thanks so much for sharing your favorites! I’ll have to check out the Hakuhodo! :)
What do u think of the em cosmetics bronzer? Does it have glowy or satin finish?
