@@matpk ::: HK still has low taxes and regulations compared to the West. While East Berlin had the Stasi Police, 2021 HK police is mild-manner, disciplined, and law abiding. 2021 HK enjoys free enterprise whereas East Berlin did not. Your equation makes no sense, and I doubt you had thought it through carefully. If you did, then we have a whole new problem.
Exactly. The vision of the founding fathers is that we were all born free in a free-world universe to pursue our evolution, and that the only legitimate reason for government to exist is to protect the freedom we were born with. If they do not protect and respect our freedom, that government is illegitimate. Some governments get that, but most don't anymore. In the meantime, why should anyone live in a state where are freedoms are not being protected when one can live in a state where they are? To pursue our evolution for the highest good of all concerned is why we are here on earth. This is more important than anything and the founders knew this. Peace.

The phrase "Running To" changes the negative context of "Running away" to a positive one and makes it more definite, and therefore attractive. Great job on counter-propaganda!
I am an EXTREMELY patriotic American. I’m the guy that gets teary eyed when I hear God Bless America or The Star Spangled Banner. I’ve always been grateful my ancestors left the Ukraine, Ireland, and Scotland to emigrate to the United States. I joined the USMC after a year of college and served for four years simply because I love the United States … no financial need related to schooling, as my family is fairly wealthy. However, I’m also the guy that will never recite the Pledge of Allegiance because I will NEVER pledge my allegiance to a flag - I will only pledge my allegiance to a principle and to my family. I would happily pledge my allegiance to The Constitution … and did so when I joined the marines. You, sir, are a TRUE American - even though you technically are no longer a citizen (ironically). “America” is NOT a place, but an idea. An idea that all men are created equal in the sight of God. An idea that all men deserve respect. An idea that all men deserve FREEDOM. However, without the freedom, everything else is bullshit. I now have a love/hate relationship with the United States. How could a country so blessed by God just piss on The Constitution? I want out! However, because I chose the path of “wage slave,” I have a bit of a financial climb before leaving the US is a practical move. I am a rock mechanics engineer for a major gold mining company, so I have a respectable wage-slave salary, but I also have a wife and five children to consider. Having stumbled across your YT page, I now have a vision. What were the American pioneers if not “Nomad Capitalists?” Your vision gives me hope and is a rocket of freedom on my back. I am giving myself four years to make this happen. I am firmly committed to my new Freedom Day of July 4, 2025. That will be the day I renounce my US citizenship and band with new countrymen who will respect my fundamental rights of being human.
The Constitution, like the dollar bill, is just a piece of paper. Culture, race and religion trump paper abstractions all day long -- which is why the American project is doomed.
@@black_eagle Correct Black Eagle. Once a large enough group of people/judiciary/ politicians decide that they don't want to recognize something anymore, such as a rule, law, title, procedure, manner of speech, currency etc. The end result is never good.
You don't need to give up anything. Just use your skills and qualifications and get a job elsewhere. Take your family with you and live overseas for a few years and see how you feel. There is a bus that takes you to the airport.
Leaving is certainly preferable to daily harassment or persecution. It is better than being swept up in some looming civil war especially one where you might not agree with any side.
@@dorothymartin8557 To be sure. You should pay attention and evaluate the situation wherever you are or are going. You don’t want to jump in a life boat full of holes. In general though drastic political changes don’t happen overnight. You usually have months or years of things slowly going off the rails before the big change occurs such that in hindsight it can be difficult to say what minor crisis or protest marked the real point of no return even though a clear trend of increasing disfunction can be noted over a decently long period of time.
@@dorothymartin8557 That is true. Striking out for the frontier or rebuilding from nothing has always been a young person’s game. Nothing to be ashamed of there.
What is cowardly about seeking more freedom? Years ago, I would have been of the same opinion as those you have mentioned but I see things differently now. You're right, this is an abusive relationship. We wouldn't blame the victim of an abusive relationship for leaving it, so why would we blame the best and brightest for leaving a country that despises them?
Think about this: The pioneers that moved west were fleeing too much 'civilization' and going where there was a possibility of success and freedom from govt control. Then they had to stop for the most part at the west coast. Then some fled to Hawaii. Now there is only other countries to flee to to get away from the US govt. BTW, do you know that the US is the only country that taxes it's citizens on the money they make outside the US?
Should my great grandfather have stayed in Germany to “defend his country?” Or come here and bred generations of successful people thus defending his family? To me family is first. Especially over country.
That is 100% what I agree with as well (except I put God above all). God, family, close friends, local community, and dead last anything related to Government of wherever you are from.

1. It's better to have multiple options and places to go than to be stuck in one place. Even Sun-Tzu knew this a long time ago. 2. Even though Andrew does cater to high six figure people and beyond I believe people can who make less can still learn and develop a plan for themselves. I've learned a lot here. 3. The restaurant analogy is so true. Why keep fussing with the waitress, manager, and others when you can just leave and go to another place that serves the same food and treat you better.

I hadn't thought there would be such strong pushback. I've been in Canada for 50+ years, and am willing to accept the fact that there are better places to retire. Change can be tough, but hey - grow a pair and make an intelligent decision.
Andrew, if things deteriorate in the US, then you could have larger numbers of people contacting you from all income groups.....be ready to expand your business!
He would make a killing if he had a program/set of options for 6-figure earners. Maybe not investors or the like, but rather folks who can work abroad/remotely and are seeking options. Hell, even higher 5-figure earners can pull it off in some places. If you're really frugal, mid-5 figures can do the trick too, but I'd be wary of sudden expenses that may crop up. So long as that income is stable, it's doable, but perhaps with more limited options on a lower salary. There are options for people who want to leave.
Andrew as a college student born, raised and currently living in Canada, you've single handedly given me so much more hope for my future. My country has done so much for me and I appreciate the opportunity it has given me but there isn't much future for GenZ. Our generation cannot afford a house, our generation is getting nickeled and dimed for wages (accounting for CPI and inflation) compared to previous generations, costs of living has skyrocketed and taxes has also skyrocketed. I'm 22 and the amount I've paid in taxes could have paid my tuition but yet there are people twice my age living off the system. You've inspired me to acquire second citizenship (though decent). I'm tired of this BS and you've really helped to show me the writing on the walls through all the free material you offer. Thank you, you might have changed my life. I hope to one day attend your conferences PS: I hope you make a video targeting young people in "CUNA" countries

I am devoted to liberty and freedom. The one thing that I have found in my travels to other countries is that there are places beyond the borders of the USA where liberty and freedom abound to a greater degree than it does in the US. I, like you, Andrew, choose to go where I am treated best. I am not there yet, but I am making plans to expatriate, because the man who robs Peter to pay Paul will always have Paul’s support. Right now, this country has a majority of Paul’s. I am simply choosing to go to a place and live a life that best suits me and my desires for my life. I am pursuing my happiness. Aren’t life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness upheld as unalienable rights by the Declaration of Independence? So, in essence, being or becoming a nomad capitalist is the very essence of the American ideal. Go where you are treated best. Good on you, Andrew. And, good on anyone who pursues their life, liberty, and happiness.

So true. I’ve heard that 80% of Americans don’t have passports. I’ve been blessed to travel to over 20 countries and saw it firsthand: the quality of life is much better in many places than here. But hey, “‘Murica”.
That was an entertaining romp. The commenters are, in of itself, a reason to leave the country. Now I am embarrassed to call myself American. Obviously our education system has completely failed. I appreciate all that you do. Thank you.
Andrew, I think a big hit for Nomad Capitalist would be to do a segment on mid-high level earners who may not be millionaires yet, but want to go abroad. I've started a process myself, and it's totally doable, it just takes some time and patience. I think your viewership who may not be able to afford a big money drop on a CBI program would benefit from knowing about FEIE (for US Citizens), Tax Residency vs. Taxable Income, etc. There are countries that can serve someone very well who want to get started on their journeys but aren't your target market yet. Maybe toss them a video? A program for 6-figure earners, or even high 5-figure earners would probably generate a ton of business for you. Just a thought.
I think a reason why he doesn't do that is because of the possible headaches of dealing with that market segment. Personally as a person not there yet I would love it but I understand. Usually people more well off just pay the price, don't try to haggle or critique every single move. I've seen some people in sales make their products or services to more well off clientele to minimize the problems. These videos may be the "freebies" that he's giving us and we have to piece the puzzle together ourselves depending on our situations.
@@jaws2003 I agree. I think if the demand were overwhelming to the point where he'd consider action, maybe a resource could be hired to work with local fixers in particular countries to get people their information as opposed to dealing with people directly. Case in point, I didn't reach out to Andrew/NC to kick off my process, and while I could have done it on my own, I hired a team of people locally, in-country, to assist. I'm playing the waiting game now with documents so it'll be a while, but sub-7-fgure earners could benefit from just being pointed to people who WOULD be willing to work with them. Maybe Andrew can point, maybe get some extra details to assist (nothing resource-intensive) and ask a small fee or something. I dunno, just spitballin, but there's definitely a market for lesser earners, but I agree, there's a greater chance of headaches.
@@binary_ironclad That's true and if his business grows he may offer something for others who don't make as much. @@jaws2003 Yep. Well said Andrew! I’m American and I’m making the admittedly scary move in 2 years. Where? Probably the Balkans or Eastern Europe, with an outside look at South America( Paraguay or Colombia). Perhaps this idea has been run by your team in the past, but I’m sure it would be a very lucrative side gig if you had “field agents” in countries that attract a lot of expats; that is, someone in, say, Bulgaria that could assist new expat arrivals with navigating rent/ real estate, government bureaucracy, language barriers, etc. These “boots on the ground “ personnel would receive a flat commission for their services. I’m not intimidated by moving to another country as I’ve traveled often; however, I do find the prospective logistics of the move to be unnerving. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for all of your hard work Andrew & the team. I am currently visiting Colombia for the first time after hearing that you enjoy Colombia. It’s wonderful here in Medellin! Back in the US where I live, inclement weather causes a ton of problems. I hear people complain about it and I think, “why not just leave?”
LOVED IT!!! Andrew you are so right, and this comes from a so called patriot, conservative, pro Trump administration from day 1, however he country is taking the wrong turn, and not for the best. I emigrated legally here 25 years ago with an 8 years old child, who today is a succesfull business owner thanks to the opportunities and self training she found in her new country. My birth country is Costa Rica, but no, I'm not considering going back there, their freedoms are in very bad shape right now; I'm not wealthy myself but I refused to live in a country ran for tyrants. And for all of those out there criticizing Andrew, I have a question for you: would you called your greatgrandparents cowards for leaving Europe in 1936? or later? how about Cubans? would you call them cowards for leaving instead of getting killed by a comminist? any jews here whose ancestors made to America just in time so you were born later? Come on people! the US as we knew it it's over; do you really think we'll have fair elections sometime in a near future? keep dreaming. I love life and I love God, but I'm not attached thru an umbilical cord to any land, just like I left one country years ago I can leave this one before things get really ugly.
Usually when folks write something negative or critical online, theyre usually actually saying it about themselves. After all they are the ones writing it.
I have seen the decimation of freedoms and the rise of authoritarian government in the US for most of my life, and I've seen it happen at exponentially faster rates in the past dozen or so years. (I'm 65now) I have also lived & worked in other countries that I loved, but it wasn't until I saw your website/videos that I (and my family) started to make a plan to leave! You covered all the viable points. All empires do fall and democracies do collapse, so Thank You! Postscript- I worked for the University of Chicago as a field researcher on social science research for almost 15 years, after interviewing teens and 20 somethings (NLSY) in the for profit prison systems (their only crime was poverty- incarcerated for things no middle class or upper class would ever be charged with) I really began to reassess my paradigms. Other studies included aging trends, election studies, energy studies and most importantly the federal reserve consumer finance study. I've seen the steep decline and have been virtually helpless to make changes- all we need to do is look to the thousands of "freedom fighters" {like Greg Carr, Noam Chomsky, Chris Hedges, Tomas Sowell, the list is practically endless} to see the futility of "staying and fighting". Last of all, I was adopted so heritage is a non-issue, but I have no native American blood, therefore I too am an immigrant. Thank you for making this vital information available to everyone (in any country)
My grandfather's side of the family escaped Pakistan during the partition, my aunt's husbands side escaped Afghanistan during the Mujahideen/Al Qaeda coming to power. I guess they're cowards cause they didn't stay and fight.
Understand when to leave- that party, that relationship, that country. Sure STAND and FIGHT/ LAST STAND sounds more heroic and noble but the reality begs to differ.Understand what he's talking about, do your own research and take the decision which best suits your interest 😁 peace 🙏
Kudos. You have logically figured out which set of principles to live by, and applied them while focusing on essentials, not artifacts. Your chosen path makes you a champion of liberty (precisely & objectively defined) wherever it is found nowadays. That you walked down this path means that you have the integrity to put your ideas into action. That your journey was no doubt an intimidating process , indicates to me that you had the vision and the courage needed to see it through. I respect all that. But, what I consider a special treat is that you made this video in which you refuse to be abused; intimidated, guilted, pressured, insulted and so on. I like that you explicitly and proudly reject the premises that your critics use as a basis for haranguing you. On a personal note, I enjoy your style and sense of humor in this video especially, but regardless, at the root of it all, I consider your actions fundamentally heroic. It's nice to see someone figure things out, act accordingly, and be willing to defend what he stands for -- as you did. Thank you. I feel inspired.

Interesting comments. I have no issue with anyone who would want to "stand and fight", mainly because I do not think anyone should be bullied into living a life, which because of overwhelming outside forces, keep taking away from its quality. But it sounds like most of these comments come from the standpoint of being stuck and trying to justify their circumstances. I cannot leave based on my circumstances but I have no animosity towards anyone who wants to live where ever they would want to, especially if the goal is to improve their quality of life.

It is quite common for a business to start with one product and then add a premium/diet version when feasible. Tesla anyone?
@@binary_ironclad That's true and if his business grows he may offer something for others who don't make as much. If not I will still take the free gems here and productive dialog from people who've had experience. Just like you didn't contact Andrew you are still getting your diversification completed for your situation.
@@jaws2003 Yep. It can be done, but I respect that Andrew has said, repeatedly, he is a CAPITALIST, so while the free gems and inspiration are very nice (end effective at motivating!) if actual work needs to be done, there needs to be money, and that's ultimately up to him -- how to best accommodate lower-income earners, if he chooses to at all.
I love it. I love how it works. Gives me something to aspire to, all the while helping me grow and become better without laying out everything for me. Forces me to work, do the research, and get my hands dirty myself. All the while learning, getting better, smarter, etc.
Massive respect, Andrew! We love your content!!
To quote the Bare Naked Ladies: “Only cowards stay while traitors run”... can’t win either way so you might as well just do what works best for you, to hell with the haters.
thank you for putting this into words. I have lived abroad for almost 20 years, this video has validated my choices. I have been shamed, blackballed, etc. by friends and family the USA, have often questioned myself............from today on, I will only feel smart and grateful! What is happening in the USA is tragic. thank you.
Hi Andrew. Can you please do a show for those not in the 7 figures. What options do we have?
Stay and fight hahaha
Let us know if you ever are curious about Bolivia
A lot of his videos have useful information. You’ll just have to walk yourself through the processes, but even then if you have some money saved and do the leg work you can probably hire the same lawyers he uses for a lot of this.
Nomad: In 2002 I left the US and moved to SE Asia to start a business venture. I sold it after two years for what I had invested and moved on to another job (English teacher) and have enjoyed more personal freedom than I used to have in the US.
To all those not in the know all 4 countries that I've lived in don't have property taxes, (fed/provincial) income taxes, fishing licenses, zoning laws, and some don't even require business licenses. Also no constant policing looking for minor infractions and city County ordinances for extra income. Imagine govt staying out of your life. "Fweedom" and after 20 years it only gets better as the US gets worse. I've been retired (SS/62) since 2007 and have enough $ to live a comfortable life for myself.

Probably Jesus
I am glad you did this video. Your responses are both rational and witty. THanks for the continued information.
I never realized just how stupid the JFK quote about, "don't ask what your country......." etc was, until I watched this video. Andrew is right, and ever since that quote, the US gov't has only kept asking for more and more while insisting its citizens ask (and get) less and less. Never was much of a JFK fan, and now even less so.
Glad to hear that, Alexander!
And the food, without all the first world additives, is So Much Better for you and in taste.
I think you meant the Taliban, not Al Qaeda. But apart from that, I'm glad your family survived.
Absolutely LOVE Andrew!
The voice of reason, not emotion!
Understand when to leave- that party, that relationship, that country. Sure STAND and FIGHT/ LAST STAND sounds more heroic and noble but the reality begs to differ.Understand what he's talking about, do your own research and take the decision which best suits your interest 😁 peace 🙏
A great response. It really is about personal choice, which NC has advocated for the entire time. Amazing how people can take offense to that.
@@binary_ironclad thanks mate 🙏

The Way of The Tao is to GO WHERE YOUR TREATED BEST. Just like water!
Great Video!! People are clueless how many better places exist outside the United States.
True. Plenty of places around the world, why limit yourself to such a small part of the world and its rich opportunities?
“Stay and fight” if you want, but I’m definitely leaving. This isn’t the USA anymore. Whatever this country has turned into means nothing to me.
As a Black American, I can relate to you more than you know. I am currently living in Europe and I left 5 years ago. After living in Europe and feeling more quality of life and also treated better here in Europe than I have in my own Country. I don't need to tell you the history of Black Americans and how we are still treated even as Americans. I am Happier abroad, I get treated well and I don't feel judged or watched all the time as I did in America. But this is Me, and I endorse, "Go where you are treated well" and I have always lived this way. Thanks for your videos, I just discovered you and I so relate to you. BTW...The Balkin Countries are so underrated and have had the best experiences and met the most amazing people.
Your Trump impersonation is perfect !👌🏾 🤣😂 Those comments were hilarious! Love your channel. I’m a disabled veteran who recently received my disability pension. I’m tired of the abuse that I have received all my life as a Man of color in America. I’m getting the hell out of North America 🇺🇸 ASAP looking for a place where I can finally receive the treatment that a decent human being should receive. I earned my peace, I know I deserve better. Thank you for what you do. Your videos even help those of us who don’t make 6 or 7 figure salaries.🖖🏾🙏🏾
Go get it. :)
@@binary_ironclad Roger that! ;) thanks!
Thank you for sharing these comments and providing even more reasons to go where one is treated best.
Only people with common sense appreciate what Andrew is doing. As a African American & an only child I have been to Europe more than 12 times an south east Asia multiple times an I have always felt a better quality if life OUTSIDE of America. EVERY-TIME
Americans have been told they are exceptional for a very long time and they continue to believe it regardless of all the evidence to the contrary. I would not hold my breath for any kind of understanding to dawn in most American minds.
