- Hello everyone and welcome to the forge, In this video I forge a san-mai Tanto from 15n20 and 1095 steel. For the handle material I use Hackberry wood with a torched finish. Really cool. Did I see you using a wen mini mill? If so.how do you like it. I'm in the market and it's in my price range.
Thanks! It's what I used when I was living in Alaska last summer, it worked pretty well but I only got to use it a few times before we had to move back to Oklahoma because of my parents health. The Wen is pretty much the same as the Harbor Freight mini mill just painted different. I have a much larger Grizzly G0704 I use now that I am back at my old forge.
