Thy Kingdom O God

The Bible says in Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Enough of seeking all these things instead of His Kingdom; righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. This favourite hymn is a prayer of the one seeking for God, who pants after God. Enough of hatred, oppression, deceptions, lust, strife and crime; the tyrannies of sin masked behind modern day fancy names like tribalism, prejudice, ambition, injustice, geopolitics and enlightenment. Thy Kingdom come O God. Amen

Wow! This transports me back in time to my formative years in the choir. Great intercessory hymn. Pity we don't hear it sung nowadays.
