Why bring a cliq chair car camping when you can easily bring a normal folding camp chair with arm rests and cup holders ect. Plus normal camp chairs are half the price and you don't sit as low to the ground which isn't great for your knees. Backpacking, the flexlite looks like a decent option for hiking a chair into the wilderness. Even the flexlite camp boss chair is a full pound lighter than the cliq chair and has more room in the seat. Cliq chair seems like an OK chair if you are lacking car space while car camping. Otherwise why choose a chair with no arm rests or any extras.
Because old-school camp chairs take more space. I have the traditional chairs & they’re fine for tailgating, but not ideal for carrying/hiking into the woods, beach, etc. Quality traditional chairs are the same price or even more; not cheaper like you state. The old style chairs that are $20 to even $70 fall apart after a year of use.
I just ordered a couple Cliq chairs. The problem with the REI & similar setups is that it’s like assembling a puzzle each time. I’m mechanically incluned & those multi-piece chairs still annoy the heck out of me.
The REI Flexlite is more practical for backpacking trips. I use the flexlite camp boss and it is a full pound lighter than the Cliq chair yet it has a stronger frame and wider seat. There is a reason REI doesn't sell the Cliq chair. It is too heavy to be practical for anything outside of car camping. If I'm car camping I'll bring a full size folding camp chair because why not, you're driving.
Useful review. Thanks.
Badass review ! You helped me make the obvious choice (cliq chair) , thanks brotha
"Boom. and you're sitting that quick"
That’s the cliq speed baby 💨
Crikey! I need that cliq chair to sit on when I’m on smoko!

Great video! What is the weight limit on the chairs? How much do you weigh?
Great comparison, sounds like the click chair is the clear winner. Love the sound effects. REI? More like

It doesnt take a liberal to set up the Cliq Chair. Its straight forward. :)
Lmfao the intense music cracked me up
I am trying to decide on Rei Flexlite “CAMP BOSS” 2lb 14oz vs Cliq chair 3.5lb. Mostly car camping but also lightish enough for BikePacking. Thanks
Hope this helped thanks for watching!
Cliq chair is no brainer. More comfy and stable and can be set up in no time.
