I got into men's shirts when I was in my twenties in the 70s. Esp vintage. This was fun, but you spin circles around any stylist, it's fun to see you get so excited - it's your passion, you're good at it! Going to a stylist in any good department store is well worth the time and effort. I did it for reasonable price clothes when I went from a skinny girl to a more mature-built woman. and I had lost the plot. I was not pressurised to buy any of the items but I did Having someone else to choose items was so great. Karen you looked great in the clothes chosen for you and its good to see another perspective.
The blue dress wrong colour of blue for you needs to be darker blue, no to the feather top it makes you look out of proportion like extremely short body the best was the first dress very classy

I would think a stylist would be more stylish! Plus you know what you like and don’t like and what fits you! I hope you didn’t pay for the service. I thinks it’s more for people that don’t know fashion or style and don’t have time to shop. You totally could have done this totally on your on and faster!
I loved the Etro shirt. I used to go by the Etro shop on my way to work, but was too intimidated to go in as I knew it was unaffordable as they did not put the prices in the window. However, I was so inspired by their patterns that I bought cheaper brands that were inspired by that Italian look. It brings back memories. I loved what the stylist picked out for you.
There was a year where my local TJ Maxx got a bunch of Etro silk scarves and I was so giddy with excitement, I nearly passed out. Guess what all my female friends and family members got that year for Christmas? lol
I smiled this whole video. I am 59 and wore all those styles ( minus the designer name) in high school and college... 1978-82 the great yrs lol

Yes, I was 18-22 those years and had the figure of a model, I looked great in everything. Then I got married, there goes the figure.
While I enjoyed admiring the beautiful items (all fabulous choices), I find that I'm feeling less connected to this channel as you move into more expensive designer items. I appreciate your videos that are more relatable to the average woman - vintage finds, interesting new ways to combine pieces, great deals, etc.
The only thing that is left for this woman to do now that she has been styled correctly is to get rid of her wigs and wear her natural hair, or what's left of it.
A big advantage of a good in-house stylist like Nicola is how well they know the brands and current stock. She really helped you to mine the gold! PS, I like a shirt buttoned all the way up sometimes, too, I learned that from Trinny.
I went on the site to see the Farm Rio dress and I got the LAST one, in my size!! I've been praying for a maxi dress from Farm Rio and omg the timing was perfect! For that sale price it's insane!!!

Loved everything. I have not been lately inspired by women’s shirts and that men’s print shirt and jean combo was fantastic. Also loved the printed long dress with a platinum tall boot. You seemed to have a great rapport with the stylist and that is everything.

I grew up not too far from Short Hills! Been to that mall a few times but it was the very "fancy" mall that we only hit up rarely lol! It's nice to see you don't have to feel intimidated stepping into the store and that your stylist Nicola didn't do the hard sell. Also like you said she was so calm and just knew her stuff. She did a great job! 🙂 Love the outfits they are all gorgeous!
I’m a size 42 also and finding shoes that I love and fit is a hunt. I think the fact it’s so hard to find them makes us obsessed with shoes. I understand the excitement!

Thank God, at last someone with a brain has actually taken the time to dress this woman correctly. I have been saying for a long time that this woman can't dress for fried chicken. This is the first time this chick has looked decent. Normally she dresses like a clown from the circus, but the good people at Nieman Marcus have told her in a nice way that she has no style and they reached out to help her out. The thing is, this woman has the body of a 13-year-old boy and that's the way she always dressed, but thank god she has been saved. Hopefully, she stays like this...get mad if you want to.
Straight, tall boy shaped bods on women are interesting. There is a meteorologist on ABC, Ginger Z who is styled perfectly for this shape. She's killing it!! I'm not a fan of overly sized men wear and those horrid combat boots are not for everyone

I wore for the first time my dad's silk lavender button up shirt when I was 14 in the 80ties! I added belts, jewelry or I changed the sleeves with elastics...

But that mens shirt!!!!! I 100% had a mens cafe shirt in the late 80s or early 90s that I loved. (Im only 5’3”’so it was crazy long on me) but I immediately remember how fabulous I felt in tha shirt. I’d not remember the brand it was only about $75 so not anything too swanky. Gawd I love that shirt!!
