- Wake Forest Baseball and Virginia Baseball played the rubber match of their 3 game series in the 2024 College Baseball Season.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Game 1 undone by an untimely E5. Game 3 undone by an untimely E9 (and an E1 just to make sure). Crazy how just a couple of defensive miscues at the absolute worst time changed this series.

Wake Forest only has one pitcher who can pitch deep into the game this year.
Entertaining game. Once again, college kids put the MLB & MLBPA to shame by playing extra innings properly (no Manfraud runner).
This Virginia team needs a lot of improvement, to many small miscues. Even when they were ahead in score, it just never felt like they were going to be the winners at the end of the day.
That was the worst 0-2 pitch I think could ever have been thrown.

I’m no wake forest fan, but the last couple of games I’ve watched them play, the officiating hasn’t been consistent against them, not to mention their pitching, which is horrendous. Defense is lackadaisical at times. Idk man, I’ll be surprised if they make a run. They should’ve won this series.

UVA is the most one dimensional team I’ve ever seen…they can’t pitch..they can’t field…but MAN CAN THEY HIT
As a uva fan i agree, the pitching staff is looking like the worst in school history, but the offense is like the 27 yankees. With all that said they are exciting yes, but if the pitching doesnt at least become descent they dont have a prayer of making the college world series. Its sad bc the offense is ridiculous.
