Good depiction of why you dont let your engines warm up by idle. Not saying this video is doing that. But at idle you see the oil sit at the bottom of the engine not providing optimal lubrication to all internal pieces. Once the engine was revved a bit you can see the oil spread evenly and provde the proper lubrication necessary. Help your engines warm up by driving them, not spirited of course. Idle hours are just as bad if not worse than driven miles. Love and treat your equipment right and they will love you back and treat you right. Its all of us internal combustion folks against these electric corporations. Maintain, rebuild, live on!!!! Braaap Braap Braaaaap!!!
You don't have a clue what you're taking about. This is just the clutches which has oil all over them, the excess oil is just pulled up on the bottom.
Once you start your engine, oil has already passed through all the passages. Oil pumps are designed to pump at a certain rate at idle. They didn't engineer an engine not to have enough oil flow.
By that logic an engine would basically seize up on start up

Whoa 😲😁
uh...isnt that suppose to be a dry clutch? id get that checked...
This is a 2012 Ducati Monster with a wet clutch.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If I was you I'd get your brain checked mate 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No because my monster 696 has a wet clutch and I love it even though the sound of a dry clutch is cool I'll still choose wet
I think it a dry clutch and the coolant is leaking maybe a blown oil seal
@@shahabazmuhammedsit’s not coolant that’s actually oil. And it’s a wet clutch.
Motul 300v
Yes. That’s the oil I’m using. 👍
@@tommyllbean best one MOTUL 300V
Is it normal to see oil from outside..??
Yes. This is normal to see some oil swirling around when the engine is running. This bike has a wet clutch vs dry clutch in other bikes.

Where’d you get those scales at 11:02
Scales? I’m not sure what you mean?
@@tommyllbean my bad I thought I commented on a different video what the heck😂😂but that clear clutch cover is sick💯🔥🔥🔥always wanted one for mine
@@michaelhernandezii2803 thanks. It’s definitely a cool mod for the bike.

It’s a Ducati Monster
Nice!!! Where did you get it from?
Ducabike parts are sold at several motorcycle parts store like Motovation USA and Bellissimoto. You can order on either websites.
@@tommyllbean thank you brother 🤙🏻
Green oil? 🤔
Yes. It’s Motul 300V oil and it’s green in color. Looks cool!

What happens if you crash? Do you need to carry a spare clutch cover? 😂
If I crash then I got a whole lot more problems to worry about. 😅
@@tommyllbean true, I just bought a motorcycle and I saw some scratches on the clutch cover. That prevented me on buying the ducabike clutch cover. I think it won't last too long
Just keep the stock one for back up.
Wet clutch
Akij more
def made in China, never heard of a brand called, "special parts"
Made in Italy. NOT China. The brand is Ducabike. You can see their logo on the bottom right corner of the clutch cover in the video. They recently rebranded as “DBK Special Parts” but still nice stuff made in Italy.
@@tommyllbean oh sorry. I saw i video using a cover looking exactly like that and he said it was made in china.
And then when sludge build in your engine 😂
Wow sounds awful
Why is the oil green?
That’s just the color of Motul 300V oil.
Its vegetable oil bro
Lol some liquimoly is green too,
what's that liquid inside?
It’s the engine oil.
