I love the clothes of the 1920s and 1930s. Kit is my favorite to collect for. I especially love the book and movie illustration dresses that were never made by AG. I’d love the yellow smocked dress from the movie for my Kit. Claudie’s custom white dress and Lindsey’s sailor suit are adorable, too. Loved this fashion show. BONUS

This is the era of the dollhouse I'm creating and so the doll in it will wear vintage era outfits. I Love them all! I think this is why I really love Kit's, Molly's, and Maryellen's collections so much❤ BONUS

I loved seeing the outfits on the dolls! I’m going to be honest, I started to watch this video last night and I thought it was going to be just pictures of the old catalogs, patterns, etc, so I stopped watching. After watching your NYC video, I came back to this and watched the whole thing. I like how you showed the illustration and then the doll in the outfit at the end!
I’m so glad you came back to watch this video. When I watch the video after it posted, I realize that the illustration part of the video we are we’re taking a walk down memory lane did seem a little extra long. I’m so glad you enjoyed it though because I did research just to try to see if the outfits that I had matched up to that time. And I was pleasantly surprised. Tomorrow’s video will be a look at styles from the 1950s and I try to create an iconic scene that most people know. 🥰🤩

Glad you like them! I truly enjoyed researching the styles from this time period and sharing the pictures. I learned so much and maybe in the future I might do a video and compare and contrast Kit's wardrobe to what I learned because I found it SO interesting.
I loved this! My favorites were Claudie’s yellow flowered dress, the long sleeved blue dress with the little blue sneakers, and ALL of Kit’s outfits. I love that you recreated the pictures of her. Adorable! When u asked up or down on the hair, I’d say up for the dress (but lovely hair!). I also really enjoy seeing old fashion illustrations. ❤ BONUS

So glad you enjoyed this video! All my non-AG or OG items were picked up thrifting or from seamstresses who sell in AG Facebook groups and that was years ago. I wish i could share Etsy shops so you could snatch up some items I shared. If I purchase from am Etsy shop I will always give the shop owner a shout out and include the link in the description. 🥰
