There are so many exotics in Destiny 2 but some of them are way more popular than others. So in this video I’ll go over the 10 most popular exotic weapons in Season of the Wish. And be sure to stick around to the end of the video because some of these might surprise you.

Gjally is a support rocket launcher alright. It supports eviscerating every enemy in a room without remorse.
Its crazy that 10th and 1st are the same weapon but different colors. Lol
Not surprising that these exotics are the most popular, as they are all easy to obtain. Unlike some raid exotics that require up to 100 or more clears to get. And it doesn't help that the majority of D2 players don't play raids.
Agree. Although nobody uses Raid/Dungeon exotics as they only have niche uses.

A large percentage of players are solo players with no dedicated fireteams or D2-playing friends. And some just don't enjoy playing with others, especially in raids, which require a lot of coordination, communication and teamwork.
Some just don't enjoys raids, period. As one of those solo players, I have played 4 of the 8 raids, but didn't particularly enjoy them. They're too long - made worse by transversal areas that, along with jumping puzzles, just feel like filler to make raids longer and harder than necessary - the objectives mechanics are too convoluted and silly, the RNG is ridiculously prohibitive, and the loot is too often meh. I don't find raids worth the excessive time investment.
Its called personal preference. Not everyone has to like the same things. As for why play D2 otherwise, I guess at least part of the drop in the D2 playerbase might suggest that some players have asked themselves the same question. 😄

To be fair, Vex is the only Raid exotic worth using. The rest are kinda mid or just trash
Sunshot went back to vault when I got my Zaouli's. Freed the exotic for something else.
Exotic primaries are usually better than legendaries, so sunshot is still good as it gives more super energy and more chances for heavy
Epochal Integration too, that and Zaoulis are the best replacements for Sunshot.
I know this is random but hear me out. Solar warlock with Starfire Protocol, running Scatter Signal, incandescent Ammit, and Dragons Breath. Loop is throw rift shoot Scatter to apply slice, pop well, Dragons breath, fusion nade, powered melee, bout 10 rounds of Ammit, to get Dragons autoloaded rinse and repeat. Usually a trash ad will be close enough and die to the fusion nade to get your rift back and apply slice again as needed.

Salvations Grip is good fun this season definitely worth a try for solo play, be careful it does self kill you unlike a glacier grenade.

⚠️ Witherhord does not turn enemies taken, it just buffs Malfeasances damage because bungie wanted the interaction to happen. Taken Spec (legendary weapon mod) does not work on a blighted target, therefore they are not taken.⚠️

You forgot to mention that polaris get anti-barrier when radiant so it can deal with two champions even though scoutrifles dont even have a mod for that this season
A lot of Exotics that “meta” or just really good have a Legendary “replacement” … like Sunshot and Zauolis Bane, any Exotic Rocket and Apex etc… some of the best Exotics that can’t be replaced are in the Primary spot like Withhoard, Arbalest, WishEnder and some more.
Exotic primaries still outclass legendaries in a couple ways though. First being the extra 40% damage exotics do to minors over legendaries, and the second being that exotics are more likely to drop heavy for you and your fireteam. It adds up.
@@finefornow_ well yeah I mean they’re exotics.. but if I’m able to use a Legendary that works damn near the same as an exotic and able to use my exotic slot for a “game changing” exotic imma do that… example being Zauolis Bane instead of Sunshot so that I can use Witherhoard. Or Ikelos SMG instead of Riskrunner so I can do the same. Or have a spot for Gjally, Thunderload, Tractor during boss fights. Those add up too
@@ExWitDaFacts I’m not saying you’re wrong or arguing with you, just to make that clear. Some people don’t know about the extra bonuses that you get from running an exotic and I think it’s important to make it clear for other people that might come by these comments that you can be an asset to your team by doing things like killing faster and making extra ammo.
@@finefornow_ I’m also not saying you’re wrong or arguing with you, I’m also just saying that sometimes a lil more firepower instead of a gun that can easily be replaced with a legendary is worth it a lot. Especially in a boss fight in a raid as long as a good amount of people have on heavy ammo finders/scout.

I always hated the way sunshot looked and until the vex ornament came out also Dragons breath in D2 is goated imo lot better than D1's version
I keep getting catalyst for random weapons like graviton lance or crimson? Why do I need those?
Is your question what does a catalyst do?

You need the catalyst to masterwork the exotic.
