    Definitely more tutorials please. Do materials transfer as well?

    Hey Niko! Sweet and smooth video man! really well explained and easy to follow, not an easy task for using 3 different software at the same time haha.
    I was wondering if I could know your thoughts about, as mentioned before that this might not be the smartest way, what kind of process do you have in mind for using the speckle connectors? Cheers!

      data exchange. I was realize Blender really great future when you working with 3d model. Right now im testing creating dacade in blender with full parametrical Blender Geometry Nodes, and with Speckle transfering to revit as Real BIM Element, not only like 3d model.
      Right now Speckle really a bit "hard" to understand.
      If they will do sharing data more natively (lets say more manageable), I think speckle will stop "infinity wars" between programs

    Thank you very much for the video!
    What other uses do you think Speckle has for Revit?

      -downgrade version. i hope it will be possible.
      -data Exchange
      -supporting open source
      -creating own apps

    • @NikoG

      Вопрос прям заставил меня самого задуматься. Экспорт в ревит идёт обобщенной геометрией.
      Но вот по поводу второй части вашего вопрос, не пробовал, на досуге попробую.
      Чисто технически такая возможность есть

    Can speckle be used to "downgrade" from revit 2021 to revit 2019???

    • @NikoG
      @NikoG  2 роки тому +1

      nice question. its not a downgrade. its mostly transferring data. i didn't try it. cuz i don't have 2019. later on ill try to do that

      Sixtysecondrevit created a video about that. In theory, yes it can be used for that. But you are limited with the API of that specific version.

    is this free? How about connecting the information and making it as live links between revit and speckle is this possible? For example recording live information about room data sheets if door type info changes in revit will this reflect in speckle as well - Similar to dRofus?

    • @NikoG
      @NikoG  11 місяців тому

      Yes, this service is free to use. Regarding the integration between Revit and Speckle, it is indeed possible to establish live links between the two. If there are changes made in Revit, such as modifications to door type information, these changes can be reflected in Speckle in real-time. This functionality is similar to what dRofus offers with its live data synchronization.

      @@NikoG wow that sounds great, I' m currently sorting out door ironmongery door types on a really huge project which involves 5 building blocks and 3 floors each. And its such a pain working on excel sheet with the data and having to repeat the same process in revit which spells for disaster at a later date when contractors request for changes 😭 Itd be really great to try this one out!

    Hi! do you accept orders for money to create a plugin based on the customer's ideas for the Revit program?
    I think this will be an easy task for you. I can write by mail more precisely if you are interested!?
