Moin Khan was a real fighter and match winner. He is hardly ever talked about when they discuss the great team of the 90s but I think he played a crucial part in success of that team.
Growing up watching him play, it felt like Pak was never out of it until he was on crease.

Moin Khan used to rescue the team whenever they were in dire straits. Helped them to reach a fighting score and then bowlers used to turn it around. What a time it was, used to follow all the cricket and stats of key players.

I still remember this match. I used to go to my friend to watch matches. The last wicket was expecting from waqar as those batsmens were able to play spinner.
Moin Khan used to play well under pressure. He really saved this match for Pakistan and the bowlers did a great job as well. That Pakistan team was a dangerous side with lethal batting and bowling combination and they would have won the 99 wc if they just took right decisions and had unity in the team.

Tough days for batting 50 overs 151 runs and Pakistan still won the game now a days 350 is not a safe total batting is so easy these days because of ICC stupid rules big bats small boundaries flat pitches two new balls
India and srilanka both hv a dubious record of losing match against pakistan...srilanka once wen they wer on d edge of winning the match but cudnt resist the pressure...chasing a target of 196...SL wer 173 for 2...and got all out for 196 lost 8 wicktes for just 23 runs including jayasuriya and aravinda dsilva...India was dominating in the start of 1st innings with irfan pathan taking a hat trick in 1st over and pak wer 39 for 6 at one stage. Yet India went on to lose the match..
to get wicket of inzi is very difficult but getting him run out too easy
