It's good to see that new maps/scenario's are still being made. Really like this map in particular aswell. Mapmaker did a really good job on making it have that Angmar feel.
The Witchers played very well and im glad to see the Witchers pull out the victory against all odds. The fact that the Witchers can achieve this despite only having 12 unit models in their entire army just shows why the Witchers are my favourite player.
They're an extremely high risk but high reward unit. Leaving them exposed can get them killed almost instantly by a cavalry charge, or even low tier archers. Especially Crossbows. But if you keep them hidden, and pot them out in innthe right spot at the right time to fire off their volleys quickly into high value clumps, they can absolutely turn the tide of a battle.
This should be a three against five could you imagine the bad guys factions defending with no skirmishes like javelins and axes that be incredible to see
Point of interest 1:08:42 My bal manged to get a shot off into the mithril guard just before it got caught into melee which also decided how the last few mins went if they were still alive could of pulled it off, but overall this was a really good game and was well played by everyone.
Both teams did a pretty good job of setting up positions & putting in enough to keep momentum, meanwhile keeping reserve troops. Always hard to attack defensive positions when archers & javs are waiting for juicy targets. Dwarves did so well on their side bc they can absorb a lot more. Elves probably would have benefited from archer skirmishing for a bit, before massing to attack their entrance. I feel like they lost too much javs & troops from orc archers from the rear.... Can't do much about Witchers. They're gonna hurt you eventually. Attackers did their best to continue archer fire on Witchers. ~ The witcher (2) final hits hurt some important units to keep the match pushing in the attacking direction. Regardless of lower kills, they totally shift momentum every time they hit & make attacking units rout.
Still can't stand the Witchers. Great battle, good win for defenders. Attackers did well but lost it a little at the end. Still, I find it harder to play as the "good" guys nowadays.
