      @ancafronea Bran Castle was never Dracula Castle. You are romanian you should know better about Targoviste and the tower of Chindia which was the Castle where Dracula actually lived for some Time.

      @@deeaveverita Bharat asked about Dracula's castle, not about Vlad the Impaler. So i assumed he was interested in the legend. And the legend, created by Bram Stoker, says Dracula was a Transylvanian count living in a Transylvanian castle that was built on the edge of a precipice. Targoviste is not in Transylvania. Of all the castles in Transylvania, Bran corresponds best to Stoker's description and people outside Romania know it as "Dracula's castle". Although Vlad The Impaler and Bran Castle were a source of inspiration for Bram Stoker, you should separate the legend from reality. In reality, Vlad was not a vampire who slept in a coffin and drank blood. So yes, Targoviste was the residence of Vlad The Impaler and he built the Chindia Tower, but Bran was the residence of Dracula.

    Why is the city with Bulgarian name?

    • @ancafronea
      @ancafronea  2 роки тому +4

      Because there was a Slavic influence on the Romanian language right from its beginnings. Sorry for answering late.😊

    Ai uitat să menționezi faptul că În curtea unei foste unități militare au fost asasinați, pe 25 decembrie 1989, după un simulacru de proces, Nicolae Ceaușescu și soția sa Elena Ceaușescu./It should be also mentioned the fact that ”Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife Elena Ceaușescu were assassinated in the courtyard of a former military barracks on December 25, 1989, after a mock trial.”

      Nu consider acel eveniment ca fiind unul important pentru Targoviste. Eu am vrut sa arat ce este frumos in acest oras incarcat de istorie. Dar va respect opinia si va multumesc pentru comentariu.
