Nah. Sasquatch is decent enough. Give it a proper support and it will you deal with nasty enemy in late game. The actual worst special tower is actually the Avok from Kingdom Rush: Origin at 5:33. You have to paid 100 gold to repair the building before you can train 4 Avok Warriors at the price of 100 gold each. But these Avok only deal 5-7 damage. THE SAME DAMAGE AS LEVEL 1 ARCHER! Even worse, the Barrack soldier actually deal more damage than Avok at 6-8 damage at Level 1 and will become better at Level 2 onward especially with their long range attack they gain.
Pirate watchtower in KRF is easily my most favorite one. It combines extremely long range sniping with artillery bombing. Also it's conveniently placed in the lane where certain enemies needs to be taken down quickly before they rain death on your troops
For those who don't know, hereoic and iron challenges(the other choices beside campaign on each level) can have special towers that could be more or positioned differently compared to campaign. Bonus, boss fights will display different things on the map on iron or heroic challenge, for example in KR you can see juggernaught's head on a pole, J.T.'s body part being cooked, and veznan's tower with a "for sale" sign. Also the heroic/iron challenge of the first level of ghost brothers mini campaign in vengeance will have swamp thing towers pre placed.
baby ashbite or dark forge are the best for me pretty usfull on their levels EDIT: totally forgot about shrine of regnos its probebly the best and most usfull i never seen a gameplay not utilizing it

Kind of. In the Flash and Steam Versions, it was its own tower that did a lot of damage as seen here. In the iOS Version, the tower was functionally useless until the game was updated to match the Steam version’s.
