The sleep studies also point to benefits on muscle growth... unsure about fat loss. I suppose if you down coffee first thing in the AM, one may be able to take the benefit of both? (I've always preferred a light roast. Lol. Now I know why.)
Dark roast has its pros as well. Roasting above 400F destabilizes acrylamide, a carcinogen. Dark roast also has the lowest acidity, making it the best option for those who like their teeth.

...and the effects on sleep were? 150mg per cup x 3 a day is a lot of caffeine disturbance on sleep
only if consumed less than 8 hours before bedtime.
@@junkiebaxXxter there was a study that Menno Henselmans shared that dscussed even a preworkout of 125mg of caffeine has effects on sleep up to 13 hours later, and thats a low dose
@@weejitwill which is why i only drink caffeine in the mornings and use stim-free preworkouts. coffee until 2pm at the latest.
