Git gud at OpenRCT2 #13: Making a curved station

In this series, I will show some tricks you can use in OpenRCT2 to make better looking stuff. In this episode, I will show you how to make a curved or a sloped station!
This is a trick you will probably not need often, but which can look really good if executed well!

Looks good on the river rafts, but im not sure how to utilize this on a coaster just yet.

I have used it to recreate some compact rides, like Loopen in the park Tusenfryd. I also sometimes use it to extend a go kart station if there is not enough space to make the station straight. Finally, sometimes I just want to make sure all trains of a ride can fit on a station so people can always exit, and then it's useful if you can extend the station around a curve so it doesn't become too long. I'll admit the situations where I needed it are pretty rare, though!

I think you could use it for some sort of water slide, or water ride of the sort, where guests board the cars up and leave 'em once back down.

@@S.M.Jean-Mahmoud_Ier very good point. I imagine it may be useful on a bobsled ride, where you want to start at the top and chain hill back up.

Exactly what i needed after seeing a coaster with a curved station in my Hometown is 2 trains in the station (one at the entrance the other at the exit) possible or do you need block brakes before the station

For that you could just make 2 stations, one with only an exit and one with only an entrance!

When I do this it complains that an entrance wasn't built, when I do have an entrance. Even when I use "Make Usable" they don't seem to count.

I think you accidentally turned it into 2 separate stations!

I really wanted to learn how to build coasters over others, like using the Wooden Coaster curve on the Junior coaster. When I try doing it the track goes 1 tile above it. I noticed that is a trick much used and it makes rides much better... what am I missing ?

Make sure to disable clearance checks! That allows you to build rides wherever you please

I think, this dosn't work anymore.
Even if both station parts are "Stationindex 1", they both require an entrance and exit, wich is impossible, because they are both Stationindex 1, wich moves the entrance and exit :D
Copying the entrance building and make it usable, dosnt work either. :(
Is there some new tech, or is it: R.I.P. Circular Rafting Boat plattform?
